Exactly what you would expect, a clean and comfortable room at a reasonable price, ideal for a mid-journey overnight for solo traveller. Chartres about 4 hour drive from Calais so can be a good stopping off point en route further south.

Nothing, it was exactly as we had expected.

It was a great location for a stop off on our journey south, situated just off the N1154 ring road around Chartres. We arrived quite late but there was still plenty of parking in the car park. The receptionist was very friendly and directed us to our room. The rooms were a decent enough size with twin beds pushed together. The shower room was clean and plenty of warm water. We were situated at the back of the building which overlooked a field and was quite useful to let the dog out for a wee in the morning. Can't comment on breakfast as we left early, but we would definitely use again for a stop over.

The noise of the road and train outside is very loud throughout the night.

The staff were absolutely lovely and helpful, especially Mama. The place was exceptionally clean and we felt safe enough to leave the door wide open while we were in the room so that we could see the beautiful view of the yellow flowers.

The rooms are fairly basic but for the price it's excellent value, clean, tidy and not to far from route I was on. Shower room was again clean and plenty of hot water . Myriam the reception lady was extremely helpful and pleasant. The property is next to a McDonald's which is handy for a coffee etc but not to intrusive.

Nothing else in the room to make a drink and the reception which is a seperate building has limited hours of opening . It says that you can get coffee there but wasn’t open at 9 in the morning when we were leaving . There’s a McDonald’s next door which is busy until 10 in the evening so some car noise. The coffee from there was good 👍

Good location for a stop overnight on the way down to the Dordogne. Clean white cotton bedding and comfortable bed.

Not a huge choice for breakfast, and surprisingly no French bread! unfortunately they were out of cold milk. A minor downside was that the restaurant was closed which only left the adjacent McDonald’s (a plus for some though). On a pleasant summers evening there was noise from the children’s play area and outdoor seating - But it didn’t go on too late.

recently refurbished it was immaculate. The proximity to the by pass made it easy to find and a convenient location- yet no real traffic noise (and quite countrified considering it was on an industrial estate as it has fields to one side). Good size bedroom. Picnic benches are available on a grass area between the bedroom and reception / dining room building. Good for dogs.

The leg of my sons bed was not fixed into bed and so required us fixing the bed by using our travel bag to support the bed. Not ideal

Car parking in front of room. McDonalds 10m away. Room modern and clean. AIR CONDITIONING that works!! Great staff. Breakfast very good. Will book this again as a stopover to the South. Excellent!!!

Fluorescent lighting. Hard beds. Tiny toilet and bathroom (and tiny room). Location a good 15 min. from Chartres by car, basically in an industrial park where the only thing open is a Macdonald's literally in front of the hotel (where somewhat loud teenagers come until quite late at night for some reason). The breakfast was an extra 10 euro per person and was the most sorry looking hotel buffet I have ever seen - best to go into Chartres and enjoy great traditional French breakfast there.

Low price, and ... you get what you pay for ! Having said that it was very basic but decent, and was adequate for a night stop on our way. In particular it was somewhat cleaner than feared. Also, blackout blinds worked well.
