Better pillows. Air conditioning as it was hot every night. Bigger towels.

Very friendly guy behind reception who remembered our room number every day after our first meeting. Very central location, was ideal for us. Very close to metro and RWC village. We stayed for 3 nights, room was clean but quite basic. Fine for our needs. Complimentary soap but no shampoo / conditioner. We forgot our Europe’s charger adapter and they had a spare they lent us for our stay to save us purchasing one. Didn’t pay for breakfast so can’t comment on that but you are so central that you only have to walk out the door to find somewhere to eat. Considering it was above 2 busy bars, we didn’t find it too noisy at night.

The hotel was fairly basic, and furnishings and bathroom were looking quite old and dated, but the hotel was cheap and did the job.

The location of the hotel is excellent, right opposite the train station and a 5 min walk to the main square.

We stayed for a rugby World Cup match. We booked well in advance and got a good price. The room was small and dated BUT it was warm, clean and excellently located. It is budget basic but satisfactory. On a budget it serves its purpose well.

Generally, the hotel is old. The elevator is quite old that I sort of panicked when it did not open immediately on my floor. I just need to press the floor button again. The carpet is quite dirty with stains too. I found an insect/bug crawling on my bed on my 2nd night. The pictures advertised in the booking website is not the same as the actual room given to me. I was just surprised that the bathroom sink was detached from the actual shower and toilet..but it was ok.

The location of the hotel is convenient because it is near the train station, metro, bus, and tram. There are numerous restaurants, convenience stores, and shops in the area too. The staffs were vey friendly and approachable too. The room has the basic things you need except for a kettle but you can request for hot water in the reception. There was a mini fan in the room but it is not enough to cool the whole room. I had to open the windows even if it is quite noisy. My room was cleaned after my first night. The view from my window is great

No air conditioning, and the bathroom is small. But they were the only negatives.

Location was great - right outside the Lille-Flandres train station. Very friendly and helpful staff. I booked last minute after the owner of our Air BnB up the road never showed up. Ten minutes later we arrived at the hotel and the reception was super helpful. The room is priced fairly for what it is.

The hotel and room are very old and a little bit dirty. The bathroom is small, shower has low pressure and low temperature. No cooler in the room.

it would have been nice to have a sitting area/lounge downstairs. Also, on the 1st morning when we arrived there was very little breakfast. The lady brought some things out but the next day we realised there were things like jam, fresh cold milk etc which were not there in day 1. So initially we did not think the price of breakfast was worth it.

It was so noisy outside during the night. People in the street shouting in the early hours, street cleaners and rubbish collection trucks could be heard too. The breakfast was very basic and would have been better if there were some hot options. Better to save money and go out for breakfast in Lille centre. It is very beautiful and there's plenty of options.
