Poor lighting in a large part of the room and beds were quite narrow (thankfully we are both petite)

Clean, tidy room and the staff were nice. Someone was always at the front desk. We liked that staff would come and clean the room while we were gone and that we had a choice of whether we wanted it done or not. The hotel was also trying to be more environmentally friendly and had some information about it in the room which was good

Lots of dust under the mattress, if you happen to drop something under and try to find it, you'll be unpleasantly surprised.

The bathroom was a good size so I was surprised that the shower was so small. I'm short and I found it difficult to move in it. You can adjust the height of the shower head but you can't stand back from the wall to get a good shower.

The location was excellent just 2 mins walk to Poissonierie Metro and Rue Lafayette. There's no direct line to Gard du Nord but that's just 10 min walk away. The room at the back was exceptionally quiet and the bed was comfortable so we had good sleeps. The room was small but super clean and the bathroom looked as though it had been recently renovated. The area has lots of small places to eat and a supermarket just around the corner

Breakfast was limited, no hot dishes at all, but good variety of cheese and meat, also great pastries which you can take away in the individual bags. There was almost no space in the shower even though I am quite ordinary in size

The only point I can think of was that the shower was tiny, so may be difficult to use if you are a larger person. Maybe this hotel is not for you if you want a luxury stay, but it has a great price/quality ratio and I was very happy with it.

The reception was open 24/7 and that gave us a safe feeling as there was always someone to go to. The personnel at the reception were polite, friendly and helpful. It's a simple hotel, not luxurious, but our room was clean and cheerful, and cleaned every day. It is in a great location, near Gare du Nord. The metro station Poissoniere is close and the no. 7 line takes you right into the heart of Paris in just a few stops. There are also plenty of great places to eat and drink near the hotel.

We couldn’t make our air conditioning work which wasn’t the greatest thing since we would’ve liked our room to be warmer

Great location, super close to the metro “Poissonnière” (3 mins walking) and the Pigalle/Montemartre areas which are full of lovely bars and spots to visit. At the same time the hotel is placed in a very quiet “rue” so even in the weekend we didn’t have any trouble to fall asleep

The staff are very friendly, the tried their best to accomodate and helped us during the stay. Besides the hotel location is very strategic, close to tram station and it is in walking distance to Gare du Noord.

The lift didn’t work. No one helped with luggage as promised in the email. I did get complimentary breakfast to make up for the lift not operational. The stairs were carpeted and dirty.
