Fabulous location in the centre of Tours, exceptionally clean and the best hotel mattress we've slept on in a long time, we were greeted with the warmest welcome from the owner which was appreciated after a long day travelling. A great little find in Tours which we highly recommend.

Our room was on the third floor without an elevator (but the front desk man kindly proposed to help us with the luggage).

The place is in a really center street with a lot of nice places to eat. The man at the front desk is very very nice. The place is clean, the service staff is really gentle. The room was clean and big, with a good taste in the colours.

The owners were very friendly and helpful with information about sightseeing, parking and bike storage. The hotel is right in the centre for the main sights, bars/restaurants and the river, and has a small secluded garden. The room was modern & comfortable.

Parking is an issue but the hotel has advantageous rates with a secure underground carpark albeit 10 mins walk away. Lack of lift could be a problem on the upper floors.

Location is superb - right in the middle of the city, Excellent host with lots of local knowledge. Rooms well furnished and very clean and tidy. Recommended

We were lucky with the main car park but there are other options that are a bit more expensive. City centre parking anywhere is tricky. We loved being at the top but if you don’t like stairs request a lower floor-you will be offered help with your bags

A great find -good location on main street close to wide choice of restaurants and bars. We had a comfort room -good size, very clean and modern shower room. It was at the rear and quiet overlooking garden. Breakfast was good value. The host -Olivier -was excellent. He could not have been more helpful-re car parking options, restaurants , what to see in the area. It might be a 2* -although the accommodation is better than you’d expect - but the service is definitely 5 *

In hotel description I don't understand that haven't elevator. My husband saw photo in booking.com with a private garden, which was inside, but door was closed. I was missing refrigerator in room, but we was manage, not so big deals.

Very nice and cosy windows view! Really quiet room. A lot of information for tourist. Absolutely in center. Very easy parkering place and free at night.

The facilities in the room were minimal

The location was excellent , the room was small but clean . Breakfast for €9 was good value with fresh pastries , bread, cheese and yoghurt.we were able to pull up in front of the hotel to unpack our bags and free parking was a two minute walk away

Everything suited our needs perfectly. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom very clean. The Wifi was good. As we were staying only one night the location was very convenient for being able to have a quick look around the city and there were many restaurants nearby for the evening meal out.

We were very lucky to find a nearby free parking space, even though we arrived on Saturday evening. I dont think it could be guaranteed.

Much nicer than our expectations. In fact we thought it was more 3star than 2. The room was big, comfortable, quiet and tastefully furnished and we had a warm welcome at the reception. Great location for a good variety of restaurants and for visiting the cathedral.

The only possible downside for some is that there is no lift, but staff offer to help with luggage. It wasn't an issue for us.

Friendly welcome. We really appreciated the advice in advance regarding parking options nearby. Great location on street with many restaurants and in walking distance of all main attractions. Great recommendations on where to eat from the owner. It was a flying visit to Tours for us en route to Calais, but we definitely will visit again and stay at Hotel Colbert

Fantastic location, bars, restaurants, the river and sites all right on your doorstep and within minutes of the hotel. Perfect base to explore Tours. Really helpful team who helped us with parking. Clean, quiet and comfortable rooms. We love our stay here!

Problem with the parking. Lady on reception only advised of 8.50 parking. When we spoke to the owner he advised that we could have parked around the corner for free!

Breakfast was really nice - fresh croissants, small soft cheeses, yoghurt, crusty bread , coffee and fresh juice. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very quiet.
