The room I had was compact. This wasn't a problem for me as I was a solo traveller but for a couple it might be small. However there are different sizes of rooms available. If you like a completely quiet location then it's best to choose a room at the back of the hotel. I had a room at the front and with the window open at night, you could hear traffic. however, this didn't last very late into the night and didn't stop me from going to sleep.

Hôtel Coeur De Loire was an exceptional place to stay. The pictures on the booking.com website don't do the property justice as the overall atmosphere, room facilities, cleanliness and location were much better than I expected. I stayed in a second room floor which was was compact but everything that a traveller needs had been thought about (suitcase rack, in bathroom hairdryer, bedside tables, plenty of sockets, a fridge and lamps). The owners were very welcoming as well with pre-arrival communications excellent. The hotel is located to the north of the city centre with regular bus services. The services are so frequent that you only have to wait a few minutes and a bus will turn up. The bus takes about 5 minutes to get to the centre of town.

It's a little outside of the centre, but the better for it (not least because parking is so expensive), and easy to walk into town (20 mins) or catch and bus/tram from. Lovely owner who gave us loads of great information (there is a sheet with local and central restaurants). Great room with a garden view, very clean and with good furnishings and bathroom. There is a safe, a fridge and a kettle. Would go again without a doubt. They obviously put a lot of love and care into the place.

Very friendly helpful staff , ideally situated for public transport C2bus literally around the corner and trams within walking distance . Quiet street, you can walk into the centre , about 15-20 mins or catch the bus . The room was small but comfortable.

Breakfast fine, variety of cold meet cheese, yoghurt etc but not mind-blowing for price. I think maybe the quality of the ham and cheese felt a bit cheap, but maybe I just want everything to cost super cheap.

They have lovely hosts and a very aesthetic ambiance. We had a very pleasant stay. The location was also very peaceful, a bit away from city center but very easily reachable. I would highly recommend this place.

The hotel room was no different from a 5-star hotel. It was spotless and everything was new. It had everything one might need. I can say the bed was the best I have ever slept on. The shower had excellent water pressure. Additionally, there was a very sweet and peaceful garden. When I come to Nantes again, I will definitely stay here. Although it seems far from the center, you can reach it in 15 minutes by walking straight from the center. It's in a very safe area. I highly recommend it.

The owners are very good hosts. The location is very good. Quiet, just outside the city. Nice garden. With the bus 100 meters from the hotel, you drive straight into the center of Nantes.

This is a fantastic little hotel in a beautiful neighborhood of Nantes, with a lovely garden, great breakfast, and fantastic service. Christophe was a wonderful host. Parking was easy. The city's attractions are a short walk away, but this neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. Take your breakfast in the garden if you can. It's a great way to start the day.

It was fresh, clean, quiet. Bed was comfortable. A breakfast was available. A lounge space was available. A garden space was available to relax. There were drinks (fridge) and snacks available in the room. It was a little distance from the centre of town but an easy walk. A bus station was also very close. Worth more than 2 stars.

What an amazing experience my best stay in my 2 week visit to France. Such wonderful friendly and warm hospitality. Great location easy access to get everywhere. I adored everything about this place. Absolutely fabulous hotel. Highly recommend it to everyone. I will be back.
