Ample free parking in rear car park. Room was basic and perfect for the price. Well located for the town centre.

Food was only acceptable. Bedroom was a reasonable size. Bed sheets wer NOT IRONED,CREASED & APPEARED DIRTY. They were replaced with unironed but clean sheets but we had to make the bed ourselves. However the bed was comfy.

I am a light sleeper and could hear the noise of toilets being flushed and from people using their showers from other rooms so I woke up multiple times. That way, I ended up leaving at sunrise. My window cover was broken in part so it let light into the room. Not sure what it would have felt like during the day, but seemed a little dark and I felt slightly more nervous than what I am used to from a hotel.

Parking out the back, let me check in late, very friendly staff, comfy bed, almost too much space it was so spacious.

Old-style hotel with the floor crinkled (linoleum covering) in the room. Basic amenities such as soap, shampoo and towels. Also had a hairdryer. The bathroom itself needs modernising. Assumed the room was clean but hard to tell as the furnishings were old. No fridge. Early breakfast times - too early for us to wake up in time to try. However, a breakfast cafe was nearby.

The staff stayed up late for our late arrival. Polite and informative. Off-street parking. There is a lift. Wifi was easy to connect to. Quiet location. Easy to find with GPS navigation.

Hotel entry was insecure as the keypad lock on the side entrance that led to the car park was broken, so the hotel could easily be entered by-passing reception. Poor sound insulation between rooms, corridor and outside road. Building looked tired and in need of thorough upgrading inside and out. Lift only stopped in between floors - halfway between ground and first and then between second and third - so stairs had to be used part-way between floors in all cases.

The hotel is not as you expect from the description or the photos. The garden is a triangular lawn between hotel and parking and looks bad. The entire hotel is very worn down and in poor shape. No feeling of any comfort. Paint is peeling of the wall in the bathroom.

Fine parking, and thus the place is worn down, it was none the less clean. Front desk was also friendly and efficient. Wifi was good.

The shower in the small bathroom is small by any standards. If you drop the soap there is no room to pick it up unless you open the shower door!

It was clean and comfortable - what you would expect for the price, which was very reasonable.

You can always pick faults but I was happy overall.

Room size bigger than expected, bed nice and comfortable. Bathroom a bit dated, but large and everything you needed. Breakfast buffet could have done with a toast maker, but apart from that it was fine.

It offered breakfast but when coming down for breakfast there was none. We were told the hotel did not have guests! We were guests. Also told we had to preorder as per the notices in the lift. No notices exist in the lift. Very poor service overall
