The hotel was stunning, the owner has such an eye for detail. Our room was beautiful and the outside spaces were great. We especially enjoyed the pool area and the terrace.

We had an amazing stay. Everything was perfect. I have traveled around the world but this experience is on the top of my list. A beautiful suite, very friendly and helpful staff and great food and wine selection. We stayed 8 days and the scenery is breathtaking so we could relax and enjoy everything to the fullest. A sincere thank you to the staff who made it so special

Very beautiful and detailed, just like in the pictures. Everything was fresh and clean. Renaissance style with modern comfort eg. air conditioning. Garden and courtyard were gorgeous.

While I understand that the dinner at the fine-dining restaurant is inspired by the cuisine of the era of Louis XIV, it was a little unexciting - not in terms of aesthetics, but in terms of flavour. Most dishes felt under-seasoned and over-engineered. The property aims at being your home away from home, but the good is not transporting that feeling and is sometimes trying to hard to be something that it shouldn’t be. The Barbecue on the other hand was fantastic!

Stunning property with great attention to detail. The staff was particularly great and made our one week stay an unforgettable experience. From the wonderful park, to the lovely room design, you really feel like entering an oasis of hospitality and historical glamour upon entering through the property gates. Just wonderful.

While the base accomodation is good value, additions are anything but. The dog added 30% onto the price of the room. The set menu in the restaurant starts at 90 euros per person. The wine list is amazing but there are few bottles under a hundred euros. The ambiance in the restarant is five star but the food quality is unfortunately more like two. Numerous unforced errors in the food service - my favorite was when I asked the waiter for a little more jus for my veal steak and he proceeded to pour lobster bisque over it. It was not unpleasant and made it less dry but seriously?

An amazing place with some wonderful and charming staff. The hotel itself has to be seen to be believed. A lovingly restored chateau - I do not like to think how much it must have cost to get it up to this standard. Frankly the price of accomodation is relatively cheap given the quality of the location. Lovely gardens, superb swimming pool, solid marble showers, period pieces, large rooms. It really is a remarkable place.

The night we stayed we were offered only a spontaneous barbecue which afforded beautiful sunshine and views but next time we would try the restaurant as we'd planned.

Just extraordinary. Bravo to Madame and all her team for making such a special place exist. It's a labour of love and testament to the work required to turn a vision into a reality. Rarely have I experienced such remarkable courtesy and attention to detail in every aspect of the stay. A very special treat for all us modern day folk who yearn for the past's elegance and civility.

Loved everything about this lovely place.

The vision of the owner makes this beautiful Chateau unique in every possible way. Stay here at least once in your life, you won't regret it. The staff are friendly, helpful and there is absolutely nothing they won't do to help you enjoy your stay. Thank you to you all. This is a place that comes high on the extravagence scale and is worth every penny. Truly a wonderful experience.

Beautiful chateau and setting, the attention to detail is amazing, if you’re looking for something different this is pretty unique. Circa 17th century with all staff in period attire and all were wonderful and so welcoming, the food is fantastic too.

There is nothing to not like about this property

This hotel is a hidden treasure. We were welcomed and treated with special attention. The rooms and the restaurant were royal, the attention to the details was at the highest. We loved every moment spent at this property and enjoyed very much the experience. This hotel is one of my favourite so far and I will definitely come back again.

A stunning romantic getaway. Truly one of the most fantastic hotels I've ever stayed at. It's like travelling in time. Everything from the glassware to the sheets is beyond lovely and luxurious. The staff were the epitome of professional and thoughtful and the service was beyond elegant. There are very few places like this in the world and we are already planning our next stay.

Beautiful renovated castle. Restaurant, spa, bar and room all beautifully decorated and the staff are all so nice and helpful. We absolutely loved it!
