The hotel and grounds are absolutely stunning, with lots of character and atmospheric ruins dotted all around the expansive grounds.The hotel also has a great restaurant and huge swimming pool. But perhaps best of all was the incredibly friendly welcome from Marlin and her team, arriving at the hotel felt like coming home and we were very well looked after throughout our stay.

Kitchen generally very well equipped - appliances a little bit dated eg oven/ceramic hob. We didn’t have a car so no restaurant service on Sunday or during the day limited options. To be fair that is made clear and advised to stock up before arrival.

It’s so beautiful..the setting and the furnishings. We had a fantastic evening meal with friends.

Curtains in room didn't do a great job of keeping light out. Lots of steep staircases makes looking after a toddler there a full time job!

Phenomenal location with wonderful staff. Breakfast was delicious. Infinity pool is fantastic to relax in. Great range of convenient local things to do with supermarket 15 mins away for supplies.

2 extra sun loungers on the room's patio would have been good, fallen figs on the steps down to the pool made things a little slippery.

Need a hire car, local taxis aren’t great/ very very expensive. That’s not venues issue and staff were amazing a helping

Not much to report here to be honest!

Amazing setting, great welcome and Service from all the staff, especially Marlin. Pool is an exceptional feature. Air con was perfect for good night sleep during the very hot weather.

There was nothing we disliked, everything was fabulous, but in the restaurant it would have been nice to have a vegetarian option on the menu (the chef did make us an omelette for our main course though).

Stunning property in a great rural location, an easy drive away from Carcassonne. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Room was beautiful and the bed super comfy. Grounds and pool just idyllic. Carcassonne is a beautiful city and would recommend visiting Narbonne if you have time - it's beautiful!

The interiors are missing a few finishing touches but overall everything was perfect.

The location is ideal to disconnect and relax. the property is beautiful and has a lot of activities (pool,tennis court,restaurant,walking)

It was our second stay and we have to say that this place is amazing. The staff is very professional and friendly too. We enjoyed the swimming pool and its bucolic view on the pristine countryside. If you prefer to play tennis then simply walk to the tennis court, unless you decide to play chess in the garden.

Small detail, but we would have expected a fan per bedroom on August. hHowever when we raised it Markin found us one quickly.

Beautiful chateau and surroundings, delicious wine and food! Marlin was a really excellent host, and helped us out with a lot of things like booking taxis and ordering croissants for breakfast. we’ll be recommending to everyone!

the place is amazing, the apartment is just perfect to enjoy our stay in harmonious conditions, Marlin and Amanda were efficient and so discret at the same time, so welcoming and friendly; We highly recommend the Chateau... last but not least, silence during the night, great sky and the most comfortable beds ever. thanks .. we are planning to come back :)

Fantastic vacation! The place is beautiful and peaceful, well designed and located. The pool is dreamy and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. the vibes are so good, it’s close to a lot of attractions and a short drive from restaurants and bakery. We had such a good time and we are waiting to come back. Marlin the manager is so nice and helpful, and had a lot of recommendations about things to do around. much more than 10 score.
