Beautiful place to stay. Rooms all a little quirky, lovely to be able to relax at the pool after a long drive from Calais. Breakfast was good, would definitely stay again and have already recommended it to friends.

Wonderful start to our holiday. Chosen as overnight stop due to its proximity to A10 autoroute but beautiful c h ateau in fantastic location. Comfortable rooms for family of five. Rooms had wifi and en suite. Swimming pool open until 9pm. Parking in grounds for car with roofbox. There is no restaurant but a short walk into Esvres where there are shops and pizzeria. Warm reception from Emmanuel and his wife and fantastic breakfast with homemade jams. Look forward to a return visit

The smaller room was a bit crowded, clean nice but bit crowded.

The breakfast was wonderful, rooms are pretty, the pool clean and nice. The castel was lovely, nicely restaurated.

The bed in our rooms wasn’t that comfortable but the overall eclectic design of the bedroom made up for it.

Beautiful chateaux in excellent location, fantastic for a stop over as not far from the motorway. Brilliant swimming pool and very friendly welcoming owner; amazing breakfast.

Emmanuelle and his wife were excellent hosts, very warm, caring, and helpful. The chateau is in the midst of the small town of Esvres ,a perfect location to experience the Loire valley ...with over 40 historical chateau, vineyards and there are some excellent restaurants nearby.

I might have missed it, but a clearer description of the room and bathroom set up/ layout would have been helpful as we had two over 70 grandmas with us.

Spent a night there with my daughter. We loved it. The bedroom was in contrast to the setting. Excellent breakfast. It is a shame we did not stay longer to visit the extended forest

The hotel was in a quiet location and the room was big and comfortable. But thew highlight was breakfast, which was fantastic with lots of home made jams making the bread and croissants taste even better!

The swimming pool was closed Not easy to get food nearby on Sundays and Mondays

Host received us in a great way. Rooms were nice and comfortable. The view in the terrace was incredible. Near different cities and castles on the River Loire

What a absolute beauty of a Chateau, Emmanuel was welcoming and informative, and Breakfast was delicious (especially the homemade Jam) Property was a Jewel in the wild to explore, just Loved our stay!

Wonderful stay, wonderful owner, friendly and charming, beautiful garden, sleeping like Louis 14, amazing location, good breakfast on a table with other guests which made the stay really charming! :)

Nothing, it was all good. Everything was perfect for us, and we were very happy with our stay.

The room was beautiful and spacious with an incredible bathroom. The views from the terrace were stunning, and the champagne, canapés and meat and cheese plate delicious. It's an amazing find, and we would love to return. The pool was heated too, so lovely for a swim.

Everything! Such a beautiful place to start our french holiday. Managed to get a swim in the pool after a long drive and a walk around the gardens. The house is beautiful and the owners are so friendly and hospitable. Breakfast was a feast!

Nothing really but you need to get used to a very laid back approach which may not suit everyone. A little bit more daily attention to the area surrounding the pool (the kitchen and the covered table area)

The chateau is really stunning, immersed in what were 200ha of woods belonging to Emmanuel's family. He still has "only" 20 :). We stayed in the duplex which is perfect for a large family. Breakfast is great with tables all set with fine crockery and cutlery and table cloths! The home made jams are the icing on the cake! Nice sized pool. The kids enjoyed it. Highly recommended a walk in the garden and park with the creek and the little lake, just so relaxing and beautiful

Fabulous stay in the family room at the Chateau. Separate bedroom with 3 single beds - one for each child. Exceptional breakfast and beautiful grounds. We were able to use the pool and relax a bit which was great. Large bathroom. Cute little town but avoid the Creperie - doesn't live up to Trip advisor reviews.
