I cannot be happier with our stay at Chateau de Paradis. We booked last minute as a stop mid journey. The prior reviews swung our decision and we really enjoyed it. Whilst en route we received a WhatsApp and message via Booking.com. Really clear instructions which was excellent. We arrived late due to a couple of delays, and Georges was on hand with the luggage and a quick and easy check in. The rooms are beautiful with deep carpet and immaculately presented. Having travels for 9 hours it was a very welcome experience. The following day we had a look around the Chateau which is beautiful. The surrounds are idyllic with the a chorus of bird song to gentle wake. Breakfast was substantial with plenty to set you up for the day, and we had a lucky visit from a happy Labrador too. After some assistance with bags we set off. Thank you Georges and all involved. It was one brief night but a lasting memory. So glad we stay and hope to be back!

The house is perfectly decorated to the last detail: each room took you back in time with its decor and you felt like in a real castle. The view from our room was fantastic, we looked at the park with its very old trees, the lights at night and the entire surroundings reflected the style of an ancient place. Our room was spacious, the bed very comfortable. George was an excellent host, looking after us throughout the day. It was just a special holiday in a sublime place. The location is strategic if you want to visit the Loire castles.

Wonderful experience! Chateau is absolutely beautiful and has a great atmosphere thanks to it’s host George, who is personally taking care of the guests. After visiting multiple museums and historical chateaux in Paris and Loire Valley, we had a feeling that we are staying in one of them!

honesty there is not much to dislike, if you were looking for issues, you would be a hard to find them.

George the owner, is an exceptional host, very warm and friendly, super attentive and helpful beyond what is ever expected of a host, the Chateau is stunning, rooms full of historic character and yet modern elements quietly slipping into the facilities. there is free use of the rooms in the chateau, George intends to make you feel at home and his home is your home, amazing! This chateau is peaceful, quiet, relaxing and stuffed full of memorable character.

We liked everything about the hotel. It's not even hotel, it's a real castle. We felt like a queen, very relaxing stay, short drive to castles. Castle is amazing inside and outside. Georges the owner takes awesome care about everything . All little details taking into consideration. His dog is a love me dog, was fun to spend time with him. Would love to come back!

The rooms are located at the third floor with no elevator

this place is a gem, the atmosphere of birds singing and tranquillity. Very well decorated with period artiact with lot of nicely decorated reception rooms. The château is in the forest but 15 min from amboise and 10 min to beautiful Château Chenonceau

We would have liked a bit more for breakfast, such as fruit or oatmeal, perhaps. I understand they are not cooking a hot breakfast there, but a few more choices would have been nice. What they did serve was very good quality and delicious.

The owner was very helpful and friendly, giving us a tour of the property and carrying our bags up two long flights of stairs. He also held an umbrella for us to get to our car in the rain! The room was large and the bathroom was modern. The bed was comfortable and the property was quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed the beautiful surroundings in the chateau. I wish we could have spent more time there. Close and convenient to Amboise.

Our stay was delightful. George was the perfect host. Our tour of his castle was amazing. He has done a fabulous job with the restoration. We enjoyed a bottle of wine by the amazing fireplace. Certainly a 5 star experience. Would love to go back in the summer when we could enjoy the beautiful pool.

everything is just perfect!

My partner and I fell in love with Chateau de Paradis from the moment we walked in. George the host welcomed us (together with his dog) in the best way and showed us the chateau and gave some informations about the place! Our room was beautiful decorated with a super comfy bed and a spacious bathroom. The view from our room was spectacular!! We woke up every day with the sounds of the birds…The property’s grounds are also beautiful! The chateau itself is so elegant and it really gives you the feeling of stepping back in time! The breakfast was delicious and we absolutely loved the warm pastries… so the orange juice! We spent the mornings visiting the chateaux around and in the afternoons we always decided to go back to Paradis and enjoy the nice French wine outside! Everything is so well curated and the communication with George was so easy and smooth! He helped us with everything ( excursions, places to eat, etc…). This place has it all and we cannot wait to go back and live the fairytale once gain! I highly recommend booking this place if you are traveling the Loire valley! it’s absolutely worth it

This old castle was renovated tastefully and generously. When we arrived we were already welcomed in a comfortable room with gigantic fireplace with wood smell and candles. Our room was enormous and with beautiful views over the garden. Our host made us very comfortable and we felt at home .
