Staff was very kind and helpful , the facilities were very good, the two pools were fantastic. The gardens and woodland were just amazing. The room we stayed was very spacious and clean and the terrace with the view was superb! And do not forget about the food experience!Both restaurants served excellent food, the gourmet restaurant was excepcional. We loved our stay!!!!!

No air con in the room so it was quite warm. There was a fan provided.

Beautiful, peaceful property. Perfect for total relaxation. A gorgeous indoor pool and also an outdoor pool and tennis court. Extensive grounds including running routes. The breakfast was excellent, the staff were all helpful. A fantastic few days.

Absolutely nothing.

Modern clean and well designed. The staff were excellent and very friendly and attentive. The grounds were superb. The food was beyond fantastic. The amenities including the pool, nothing could improve this impressive hotel.

Absolutely fabulous hotel just refurbished and with beautiful finish. The staff were excellent and the whole place was serene with great facilities. Breakfast is a treat.

Nothing really. Perhaps a better introduction to the facilities when we got there - ie we didn't know if there was a bar or a salon, if there were walks from the hotel into the surrounding countryside. Recommendations on local sites worth visiting would have been nice. A better website would do the hotel a big favour, as the current website is dull, hard to navigate and undersells the place.

The staff were extremely professional, brilliant at their jobs and super friendly and attentive. The food at Maison Alyette was outstandingly good and the setting on the terrace wonderful. We ate every meal there for our 2 night stay - even lunch on our day of departure.

Maintains on old-world gentility amidst a brand new renovation. The staff are genuinely welcoming, attentive to every need. The cuisine is exquisite and delightfully served. The various annexes to the beautifully decorated chateau lie conveniently around what must rate as one of the best views available to non-billionaires.

The weather!

This hotel rates as one of the finest we have ever stayed at in all our travels around the world. On every dimension The Chateau Locquenole exceeds expectations. From the professionalism and warmth of the staff, their ability to make our stay relaxing and fun, the size, styling and comfort of our room and bed, and the restaurants. Ordinarily we would not single these out for particular mention, but at this hotel they deserve special attention. The quality of the menu, the delivery of the food and the pure pleasure of the events at both restaurants was exquisite. They should and will receive many plaudits we're sure, including the coveted Michelin Star(s).

There was nothing to dislike. We were a bit confused at first at the gate entering the property, but it wasn’t a big issue after all.

Such a gem! Everything was perfect here. The junior suite with a sea view was spacious and tastefully renovated. All common areas were also exceptionally beautiful. Make sure to try the gourmet restaurant which is exceptional. Also, the breakfast is worth every cent.

This is an exceptional property. The renovation is stunning and in complete harmony with the building and the surroundings. The decor and finish is beautifully done. The room was very comfortable, the spa lovely and the food and cocktails delicious. The grounds are a delight to wander in, and the views onto the river Blavet are beautiful. The staff go out of their way to make sure you feel relaxed and welcome. We would love to return.

Not clearly indicated entrance to the hotel.

Beautifully renovated, all functional, great room and large bathroom. Stylish, in good taste, modern, yet keeping the antique value of the place. Well-trained staff.

There are too many children. Parents negligent and inconsiderate of others. The hotel is isolated and though they have nice trails in the woods, for any longer excursions you really need a car. Sports stuff in the woods made for monkeys. No air conditioning in the hotel seems like they aren't aware of increasing frequency and intensity of heat waves. The bistro menu does not change for the whole damn season.

The team are wonderful. They are very cat friendly. Helpful. Discrete. The restaurant and spa were excellent in terms of service, skill and diligence. The restaurant is on course for a Michelin star and the staff utterly lovely. Decoration is tasteful. View on the terrace is stunning. Walks in the woods were refreshing.
