The breakfast did not really meat our expectations. It was quite minimalistic and not really fresh (bread, coffee). However, the dinner the evening before was so good and the staff were so nice that it was kind of ok. Also to say, that the swimming-pool and other parts of the hotel were not usable since they were in renovation in May-2025

We had two four-bed suites, each for two persons. They were just perfect. So a bed for 2 persons was just very nice for a single person. Very nice suites. I would recommend these types of rooms cause in France the beds seem in general to be smaller than in other countries. We had an excellent 5-course dinner in the beautiful dining room. The staff were extremely friendly and made our stay and the dinner a memorable evening. The cook was a top cook.

Despite a power cut ( and the fact that the chef had only been there 2 days) we had a superb meal, served by very friendly staff.

Wonderful, friendly staff to greet you and serve at breakfast. The Château is amazing with beautiful grounds and a luxurious pool. Standard room at 152 euro large, clean overlooking the inside courtyard.

No Aircon in rooms made it really hard to sleep(especially during a heatwave). I think other than during a heat wave/summer the rooms would be fine as there appeared to be heating installed. Common areas looked a little neglected, but rooms clean and done out well (stairway had visible spider webs) Really enjoyed the food and sitting on the terrace at the restaurant, but again looked like it could do with a bit of TLC

One small thing: The bed was too short for me so I couldnt stretch my legs when sleeping. Nothing serious for me, Im dutch and very tall (192cm) so quite used to it. Additionally we only stayed 1 night so it was peanuts.

Location and vibe of the chateau is very nice. Rooms were clean and facilities good. Reception was polite and helped us around very nicely. Bonus is the pool, so beautiful!

The Chant de la Source restaurant isn't great, but it's not run by the hotel so I suppose they don't have much control over the quality.

Had a stag do with music going on until around 2am!! Train line is right next to property. Breakfast coffee machine was broken, only one lady serving couldn't keep up with the continental breakfast with the amount of people. Not enough sun loungers around pool so had to sit on the ground, pool toilets smelt even up at the terrace above, whilst having very average food!

Good character property, lovely rooms. Nice large pool.

The hotel was severely understaffed with a couple of persons trying to cover everything and not able to secure permanent manning of reception or bar. Restaurant closed Sunday evening. A grand property with the manning of a B&B.

I booked dinner, through booking.com, but when I arrived they said they had "only just seen my request" and the restaurant was closed. I ended up with a packet of crisps and a warm beer. After a long drive the only thing I want is some food and a place to crash. On another note, which is not applicable to most people but the car chargers were the slowest (3kW) I have ever come across, so by the morning, I was no where near what I needed to be to do the first leg so has to do an extra stop. Finally, the room smelt of must. Sort of old smell which was not very pleasant.

Breakfast was good, no issues there, although not your usual buffet, it was served on a platter and you got what you were given. (Fine, if you like ham and cheese for breakfast)

cargo train passes in front of the property every hour through the night. tent and live concert organised at that property Saturday night right outside my window. impossible to sleep even with the windows closed. Horrible experience, no sleep. Booked this location thinking it would be peaceful and quiet away from the towns. For the amount of money this was the worst stay I’ve ever had. Will not return.

we have booked a family suite with “sleeping sofa in the leaving room” in fact it was extra bed and a mattress just put on the floor!!! A double bed in the sleeping room was 140 cm.

People at the pool who were not from the hotel, listening to their music very loudly. It felt that we were in a very poor location and/or a beach. Actually at the beach, we would not even experience this.

The reception lady was great and very nice. Thus giving a better rating to the hotel, they have a lot to do to get this property at the right level. There are lots of potentials to make this place exceptional but at this stage, it is rather poor and expensive for what it is.

Super friendly staff, great that my dog was very welcome. The swimming pool is amazing, 30m+ crystal clear and spotless let clean. Breakfast was fantastic. Plenty of parking in large private car park. If you are looking for a drop off point when running to the med from UK you won’t find a better spot
