If you’re traveling by car, you’ll likely need to park in the car park under the covered marketplace. It’s not cheap, but it might be possible to pre-book and save some money (we didn’t do this, but in retrospect should have looked into it).

The location of Chambres d’hôtes La Tour Sainte-Cécile is fantastic, and the building is unique and offers a special experience. The hosts were lovely, the rooms beautifully appointed, and the breakfast was delightful! There is a small elevator to access the apartment, however be prepared that you will still need to be able to navigate a small number of steps to get into the property, and if you have a tower room (worth it!) there are many steps in a narrow spiral staircase to get to the room - leave the large suitcase behind!!

An absolutely perfect B&B in the heart of Albi. The hostess is charming and a great conversationalist. The rooms are beautifully furnished and the bathrooms are large and super modern. The beds are extremely comfortable. There are numerous restaurants within minutes.

Such a delightful bed and breakfast 2 blocks from the Albi Cathedral. The interior design was gorgeous, and we had a delightful talk with our host, Maely. It was a very comfortable stay. Maely suggested a restaurant for us, then she immediately made us reservations, and the restaurant was such a treat.

2 rooms are up a very small medieval staircase. It is impossible to get a large suitcase up these stairs. The view from the top room is incredible, however, yet the access is not suitable for anyone with a disability or who has difficulty with steep stairs. If this is an issue for you - ask for a room on the main floor.

This is is 16th building, beautifully furnished, in a great location. The tower room which has a spectacular view of Albi is reached by a very narrow circular stone staircase with only a rope to hold onto. We tried the stairs but felt it was not suitable for two seniors, so we changed to a beautiful room on the 2nd floor. However, there is not a mirror with enough light to put on make up. We needed to email the host to find out how to “ring the doorbell” when we arrived. We are from Canada and had not seen this system. The breakfast was lovely - delicious and elegant.

The rooms were absolutely beautiful and carefully curated to maintain the decor of the time. The bed was very comfortable (not a bed of the time period!) and we slept very well.

Exceptional home run by the owner who grew up in this home. Beautifully decorated and with huge spaces. Could not fault anything. EVERYTHING. Our host was amazing, kind, and we left feeling like friends. We want to visit Albi again just to stay in her beautiful mansion and enjoy breakfast with her again. Wow! We were just blown away from the moment we arrived. We had a big SUV and had trouble parking, Maely came down to meet us, helped unload our luggage, and road with us to find parking. She is an amazing host and her English is excellent. The tower room was incredible, and really put you back several hundred years, with a winding staircase and panoramic views from our windows. While the history of the building has been preserved, the furniture was beautiful and well appointed. The bathroom was modern. When the church bells rang the next morning. we felt we were living in a fairy tale. A delicious breakfast was served with fine china, just perfect. Maely is a gracious host and it is obvious that she enjoys what she is doing. We only spent one night but would love to have stayed longer.
