Absolutely fantastic room, beautifully presented and spacious. Everything was immaculate and the amenities in the room were spot on; nothing had been left to chance. This was a superbly run chambre d'hôte. The welcome was warm and the owner was extremely personable. Most highly recommended.

Because it is the countryside, you have to deal with a lot more bugs, that makes sense. However we had to deal with a lot of mosquitos, and we could not open the windows for a nice breeze in fear of more invaders! A fly screen would be useful. The hostess did give us bug repellent without asking , which was kind.

A beautiful location in the quiet countryside, yet only a 5min drive from Grandcamp-Maisy (restaurants/bar) It is also conveniently located near Point Du Hoc, Utah beach and Saint-mere-Eglise. A very big garden to relax in, and parking in front of your room. Nice bonus were the friendly horses across the entrance of the property. The hostess was very friendly, accomodating and tried her best to speak english to us. The highlight for me was the breakfast! Everything is prepared for you, it was all fresh and i think local produce.

A very nice old farmhouse in the French countryside, good place to stay if you are travelling the Normandy coast, or if you plan to stay in the area for a few days. And want something different then staying in a more urban area. But still have plenty of things close by. Super quiet area at night, and because of no artifical lights in the entire area at night it gets completely pitch dark. Also was able to park my motorcycle in the garage which was a great bonus, since it was raining quite a lot that night. Breakfast was simple but very good, the homemade applejuice was very refreshing in the morning. Room was very spacious with a nice bathroom

We had a great stay at this idyllic location, we took advantage of the quiet surroundings, the beautiful garden and the accommodating host. Our request to arrive earlier and park at the location was approved immediately and we were even granted a different room than the one booked (to switch to a double bed). In the morning, the host had prepared a wonderful French breakfast with terrace sitting and served us warm pastries and homemade goods (jam and yogurt). Definitely recommended if you are traveling by car and want to stay in a quiet, off-the-road location for a night or two. Thank you!

I didn't like that we could only spend one day there.

The place was in a really beautiful rural setting. The building is an old farmhouse complex that has been sympathetically restored to a very high standard. Our hostess was quietly attentive, always there at the right time and already providing what we needed before we had to ask for it. Classic French breakfast of bread, cheese, croissants and jam with tea or coffee and homemade apple juice.

Amazing local breakfast including homemade apple juice, jams, Normandian desert and more. Perfect location - silent and dark in the evening that you can see all the shining stars. A very large backyard for resting. Very clean and equipped room. And great hospitality :) I would like to stay here again.

N/A - we enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I were looking for a base to explore Normandy and the D-Day museums and memorials. If you have your own transport and are looking for a rural, peaceful stay, look no further. We enjoyed 4 very comfortable nights at this chambres d'hotes. We selected the ground floor king room which was spacious and well appointed. We slept very well and had the benefit of a large en-suite shower room. Our room was immaculately clean and our breakfast each morning was plentiful - a typical breakfast of tea, coffee, pastries, breads, jams, delicious home made apple juice with the offer of cheese and eggs too.

Everything was fantastic

We loved our stay here. Our host was welcoming; the rooms were clean, comfortable and stylish. The attention to detail was amazing. Breakfast was delicious. We had access to a fridge and freezer. We loved it all! It’s the perfect place to unwind after a busy day exploring the region with a glass of wine in the beautiful garden.
