You have to sit in the bath to shower, which is typical French, so just a minor point.

Dominique and Jean Luc were the perfect hosts, the rooms are lovely with a lounge area, large bathroom and very comfortable beds. The bonus was the evening meal, eaten with the family, which consisted of Filo Pastry starter followed by homemade pate, then Lamb bred by their son served with potato gratin followed by the best Roquefort cheese I have ever eaten and then roasted plumbs with sheep's milk, all washed down with a lovely bottle of Merlot and a small beer. All for thirty euro, fantastic value.

Rural stay with comfortable beds but too many flies in summer.

We visited in summer, and there were more flies than any other place we have been to in France. Breakfast outside was very difficult. Bread and coffee and flies everywhere. We are from a rural environment and used to animals and flies, but this was excessive to the point where the kids did not want to touch breakfast. We would have like to do breakfast indoors. The table d'hôte was also excessively expensive, at 30 euro per person (even for the young children).

The Chambre is very rural in a quiet area. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom clean. The hosts served a tasty table d'hôte with lamb stew.
