Beautiful, characterful house, very tastefully decorated and furnished, which was really convenient for restaurants etc. The host, Jose, was attentive and knowledgeable without being in any way intrusive. He recommended a really good restaurant for dinner and brought us a good breakfast next morning. We would highly recommend and would definitely go back again.

An amazing place to stay - so amazing I am worried that leaving a review might mean we can;t stay there next time. A truly wonderful welcome from Jose who went out of his way to help us and explain everything Tarbes had to offer. The room was exceptional and decorated like a boutique hotel without the boutique prices.

There is nothing to dislike.

This is a delightful place to stay. We were warmly greeted by Jose who gave us a guided tour fully explaining all the facilities as well as providing local knowledge of the area re places to visit and eat. We reached our room via a small flight of stairs. The door open out into a large reception area. On one side of this was our bedroom - this had a large double bed, a small fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, table and chairs and a Tv with Freeview and Netflix. The French windows opened up onto a separate private roof top patio. On the other side of the reception area was a very large bathroom with bath as well as a separate toilet and shower. There is also a swimming pool available for use with sun loungers and chairs available for relaxing. Jose offered a continental breakfast of orange juice, yoghurt, croissant, French bread and jams which was worth the money. We had pre booked a parking space in the secure car park but there is ample payable street parking ( unfortunately I did not check the cost as I had no need to use it. ) All the amenities of the town are within walking distance. The town of Lourdes is only a 14 minute train ride away.

The room was huge and so well decorated, very stylish. The owner could not have been more helpful too. Such an amazing old building full of history with quirky furniture. Absolute gem to find the pool in the courtyard too. Breakfast delivered to the room for an extra 6.50 was the perfect start to the day- fresh croissants and baguette and yoghurt.

The property was centrally located, close to the main square and many bars and restaurants, but came with private, secure parking which was a huge bonus. The rooms were large, comfortable and creatively decorated and had a good outside space. Jose was very helpful and attentive and provided an excellent breakfast which was great value for money.

I have stayed here several times. José is a lovely person and always helpful. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, the pool was warm, breakfast is delivered to your door at whatever time you ask and is plentiful. The house is very close to the town centre, buses trains, restaurants etc. and there is private parking.

Jose is everything you could ever want from a host, and more. He's welcoming, thoughtful and provides excellent information. My room was spacious, quiet and with lots of character and nice lighting. Every detail has been thought of - tea, coffee, a small fridge and helpful local information. There is a lovely balcony and siting area by the pool though I barely left my room and it was a delightful place to relax. The bars and shops are only moments away. I walked from the train station (10-15 mins) for my arrival, and took Jose's service for my airport transfer in the early morning. Its only 20 minutes to Lourdes/Tarbes airport which is small and easy to navigate.

A beautiful historic building and a fabulous spacious, comfortable and exceptionally clean room. José, the owner, is an incredible host. He is kind, thoughtful and caring. It was an absolute pleasure to meet him and a privilege to be able to stay in this perfect accommodation, conveniently situated in the centre of Tarbes. Highly recommended for a stay in Tarbes.

Absolutely everything. Beautiful, stylish taste in decor. It felt very luxe, beautiful old yet modern. Large rooms and high ceilings. José was incredibly accommodating offering great hospitality. José is really helpful and friendly - I have stayed here before. This was a different room - more like a suite - an entrance area, big bedroom with TV, table and chairs, and a large bathroom with bath & shower. There is private outdoor parking and also space for one car in the garage. The location is fabulous - just a few steps from centre ville. Breakfast was plentiful and delivered to the room. And it has its own large, private balcony.
