Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaIt would have been nice to have some additional lighting in the room. Getting the luggage up the narrow staircase was a bit tricky, but worth the views from the room. The WiFi was very spotty, which was frustrating, but one is out in the country.
The BnB was very romantic and the location beautiful. It was quiet and staff was very nice and helpful. The included breakfast was very yummy and plentiful. Having access to a kitchen if wanted was also a nice touch. The bathroom was large and the shower excellent. There was enough storage space and a desk in the room we occupied.

United KingdomSuch small things that didn't cloud our stay at all but we weren't provided with a key to our room and soon realised why - the stair banister had been built over the key hole access! It would also have been nice to have coffee/tea making facilities in the room rather than have to go down to the shared kitchen. However, the shared kitchen was brilliant as we enjoyed having dinner in one night.
What a stunning location and the perfect stop for a couple of nights in the area. We were warmly welcomed to the pristine accommodation and grounds and shown to our beautiful room overlooking the vineyards. The room was very spacious and clean, decorated beautifully and with a very comfortable bed. The shared sitting room and kitchen for the four rooms is also a lovely touch. Some great recommendations of places to eat locally and the perfect location for day trips. The wine tasting on arrival was a lovely bonus and we enjoyed being able to walk around the vineyard and enjoy the view - and purchased a few of their delicious wines. And the complimentary bottle of wine in our room a lovely touch. Breakfast was simple but perfect to start the day. Would definitely recommend staying here, great value for money.

United States of AmericaOur room was the smallest of the 4 at the property, a little tight but it was fine - clean and comfortable. The wifi was not great but this isn't a place to stay if you have urgent business concerns!
The property is beautiful, perched on a hillside overlooking and amidst vineyards. It is a bit off the beaten track, but that is part of what makes it special. It was casual but elegant - a warm welcome, a wine tasting on arrival of their wines, lovely atmosphere. One thoughtful feature was the offer of healthy, inexpensive food to purchase and heat in the common kitchen - a nice alternative to leaving the property in the evening. Breakfasts were simple but good.

The room was very comfortable, staff charming and helpful and breakfast simple but delicious. We enjoyed our tour and tasting and the chance to walk through the fields in the evening sunshine.

RussiaIf you like to travel by car, walk through the vineyards and sleep in silence with open windows, then you are here! We stayed one night on our way from Normandy to Bordeaux. It was a good choice! Using the navigator you can easily find the way. The territory of the chateau is fenced. Solemn forged high gate for entry. Cozy interior of the guest house and rooms with antiques that are interesting to look at. Cleanliness, comfortable bed with crisp white linens and a modern bathroom. As a compliment in the room a small bottle of sweet wine. Unfortunately, I don't like sweet wines and it was left untouched. At the chateau you can buy dry red and white wine made in this chateau. Worth buying for a tasting at outdoor terrace of the guest house o at open terrace of the chateau overlooking the vineyards. Take care of a snack to wine in advance on the way to the castle. Modest breakfasts (1 croissant, 1 yogurt, bread, butter and jam) according to the schedule at the common table for 4 persons in the living room. It was very cute and made me smile, but the range of dishes was surprising. Bread breakfast, I have never had this before! On request, they kindly made a delicious espresso instead of the strange coffee drink served. Locking the door of the room with a key is a puzzle, because the railing of the stairs interferes with this. But I found a solution: i did't close the door with a key when I left my room for an evening walk and for breakfast. The neighboring city of Angers turned out to be very lively and beautiful, with a historic castle, many restaurants and numerous shops.

SingaporeThe bed is facing to the glass door, which is also our only window. So we have to open the door to let the fresh air coming in.
Is very beautiful & clean place. The bed is very comfortable. Bathroom is the best, modern looking, clean, lighting is well lit, the shower area is quite 'hidden' so not much water coming out and makes the bathroom flooring dry all the time. A lot of space too put your toiletries, because the bathroom top and shelf is spacious. The room has big cupboard, so it's enough space for us to put our things. There's a living room, dining room & kitchen next to our room. So we can just relax there on the sofa or armchairs. The wall in between is thick, so we can get the quietness and peaceful stay. The staff: Geraldine and the wine tasting staff: Inez, are friendly. Geraldine has been very friendly and helpful during our stay, and she try her best to make our stay comfortable. Inez is very informative during wine tasting time and she speaks good English.

ItalyThe room had only a door/window (which is the room entrance) with view on the parking, so there is not a lot of privacy. There are curtains, but this makes the room dark.
Wonderful location and very nice room (beautiful bathroom and shower in particular), staff was very kind, we had a wine tasting when we arrived that we really appreciated. A lot of parking space, good breakfast.

GuernseyFaultless.
Beautiful winery and the room was fantastic. There was no air conditioning as such but this was made up with a Dyson fan which was brilliant. The wine tour and tasting during our stay were the main highlight - special shout-out to one of the intern hosts (young lady studying Economics at University - can’t remember her name!) but she was patient, had superb knowledge and made us feel very welcome. We were even given a bottle of wine from the winery also!
