Would have been convenient to have been able to charge the car overnight, but it wasn't a problem.

Absolutely beautiful location, stunning views, gardens and rooms. Wonderful experience, surrounded by great beauty and care in the restoration of this gem of a romantic hideaway. Hosts exceptionally friendly, helpful and interesting. Would definitely return. Breakfast was fantastic with a range of homemade preserves and honey.

Bit too chilly in the room in November despite sutters and radiators, though it's understandable. Parking area could do with a light in the dark.

Beautifully decorated and looked after, real character and charm. Very amenable hosts. Gorgeous big room with a seating area, though it was quite chilly despite the radiators. Really co.fy bed with lovely soft bedding. Great breakfast in another beautiful chateau room. If we'd been there in the summer season we'd have loved the views and the little pool.

We were on the third floor of the chateau (deuxieme etage) where wi-fi was patchy at best. The additional flights of stairs to this particular room might not appeal to some people with mobility problems. Other bedrooms are available on the second floor. The keypad access to the main door had a mind of its own (i.e was temperamental, to say the least). These were minor problems which did not detract from our enjoyment of our stay.

Two marvellous hosts who were always friendly, helpful and attentive to us a guests- in a beautifully restored early 1900s chateau with wonderful period (and earlier!) furnishings. Wonderful grounds to take a forest stroll or sit in the garden to enjoy the views over the countryside. Nice swimming pool in season. We stayed three nights and enjoyed every minute. Good typically French breakfast served in a beautiful dining room. Good comfort food available in the evenings for those not motivated to seek out local restaurants for fancier fare. A wonderful restaurant (La Petite Auberge) is around 8km from the chateau.

Wonderful chateau set in beautiful grounds, garden was stunning and in a very special secluded area, very quiet surrounded by trees, a lovely swimming pool in front of the chateau, the chateau is decorated in period furniture and antiques, the room was nicely decorated and very comfortable and quiet, breakfast is served in the grand dining room and was excellent with fresh bread and croissants, lovely hosts who gave us a tour of the gardens

We had the most incredible experience during my stay at this booking. The place was an absolute gem, filled with an impressive collection of antiques that added a touch of charm to the elegant aristocratic interior. The surrounding nature was breathtaking, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The hosts were exceptional, putting in tremendous effort to not only maintain the property's integrity but also enhance it with their personal touches. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

What a beautiful place to stay. The decor was interesting and suited the chateau well. The host was very friendly, the rooms were very big and the bathroom was too. The bed was a beautiful 4 post and was very comfortable. Would stay here again and recommend. Great base for visiting Fougeres which has a great castle and town surrounding it.

The perfect place for a perfect stay. Just a few guest rooms; means you live in a chateau just with the owner couple and maximum 2 other guest. The room was huge, perfect equipped, maximum clean, just perfect... no, more than perfect. The owner gives you the feeling to be warm welcome. If you like to feel and to get served like a lord... here you go. This is not a hotel. You are the guest of the owners family here. The rooms are furnished with maximum taste and style. I will return... just to stay there for some nights. Many thanks to the owner who made our short trip to Mont Saint Michel and Saint Malo an adventure. Even days after our stay, I still feel this cozy feeling that you don't find in many places.

Old renovated Chateau fited out with good taste, according to rules of "old" epoque. Superb place on the hill with nice views and sourrounded by park. Nice and genty hosts. Breakfast in living room like 150 years ago. Petit dejeneur with home made jams.
