The location is amazing, a tiny Japanese garden in the middle of Burgundy. The food is prepared by a proper chef with former restaurants in Europe and Japan. The experience was amazing.

Beautiful setting in the woods with comfortable and peaceful surroundings. Delicious meals (particularly the dinner) and all facilities were clean. Very welcoming and friendly hosts. I would recommend booking meals in advance as there are very few other options if the restaurant at Boisrouge is closed.

Amazing place in the middle of a park. Very thoughtfully designed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was good size. The closeness to nature is breath-taking. Very good breakfast. And super friendly owners.

The location was perfect for our 1 night stopover travelling from the south to north of france. Just a few km’s off the auto route. The picturesque setting was beautiful. The accommodation was very nice and our room was spacious. We also had use of the shared sitting area that provided free coffee, and water and there was a fridge and kettle we could use. The best thing was the evening meal. Wow. This was a set menu and was cooked by the host. I would highly recommend everyone experiences this. The food was prepared and served fresh. It was outstanding. The wine list was huge and varied in price.

The rooms are set in a beautiful little forest just outside a village. There is a Japanaese theme but you're still obviously in France.

Fabulous location in the middle of beautiful vineyards. Unusual buildings like being in tree houses. We had a dog who liked walking around the fields off his lead. Dinner was cooked by the owner, eating outside with three other guests and it was sensational.

Windows were dirty, which took away from the view. No storage space for clothes (standard room only has 1 shelf and 4 hooks), outdated babybed, sparse info upon arrival, no couch or other comfy furniture in superior room to enjoy the view, lots of thumping noises during the evening and night.

Lovely view, spacious and practical bathroom, very comfortable bed, dinner at restaurant was superb and very affordable. Great place to stay for one or two nights.

The modern wood clad buildings are loosely grouped around a quad and set in a huge rambling mature garden cum deciduous wood with 120 ft high plain, sycamore and copper beech trees. It feels like a fragment of a forest had been preserved and you have the great fortune to stay in it. Meanwhile, beyond this green canopy, there is a picturesque Burgundian village complete with water channels, stone wash house and an impressive steepled church.

Pretty location, not far from the auto route which was perfect for stopping over on a long drive. Very quiet. Room was good, bed comfortable. Restaurant was lovely, food and wine was great. Staff were fine.

The mosquitoes were everywhere and more could have been done to try to eliminate this. The food choice was very limited and very expensive as too was the wine choice. The breakfast was poor value for money and the most expensive breakfast we had throughout our week stay in similar properties. The offering at breakfast was poor and coffee was very poor.

The property was clean but much more rustic than advertised The bed was extremely comfy
