Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I am not normally a fan of Best Western hotels, but this one has forced me to reset my opinion. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is right in the centre of town. It has an underground parking garage. The room was spacious and comfortable. It was very dog-friendly. The breakfast was excellent. What's not to like?

The location is very close to the historical buildings. The room was a novelty because it was a split level. The bed was several steps below the shower room. The windows opened allowing in fresh air. The breakfast was very well done. Many delicious choices. A good value.

United KingdomThe menus at the hotel were quite limited including the room service menu. Unfortunately the restaurants in the town seemed to finish serving dinner around 8pm so we were a bit stuck for what to eat as we arrived at the hotel later. Make sure you are out for dinner early !!
Great location and lovely hotel with good facilities. Secure parking on site and we were able to take our friendly dog with us to the hotel. Good selection for the buffet breakfast.

We arrived late on a Friday night and after parking in the secure garage, we had a very quick booking in with a very nice man. He explained everything we needed. The room was very clean, well appointed and clean. We were up 8 hours later and had a fantastic fresh breakfast that was well stocked and very fresh. Makes such a difference, and the staff were helpful and cleared away as soon as you finished. Even liked the coffee which is a change. Location right in the centre is great whatever you have come to see is really close by.
