Hotel decor needs a refresh but that's hardly something I didn't like. Just something to be aware of if you book.

Yes this is def not a new Novotel and has been selectively updated in places (- the corridors definitely not). But it's good value, very well situated, and our family room was clean and comfortable (+ kettle/fridge/safe). Staff were excellent - helpful and lovely from reception to the restaurant to the cleaning staff. Restaurant was really good both for dinner and for breakfast (and more updated than other parts). Park in the underground carpark (overnight costs 16 euros) and you can take a lift from there directly into the hotel. Would def stay again - a very good experience.

Small things: no coffee cups in the room, needed to use glasses for the first morning coffee. Fridge in the room was cool, not cold.

Great Breakfast - not opulent, but all the right things and good quality. Parking garage right under the hotel with reasonable pricing. Good location just outside the old city's walls, short walk to the main square where you can find plenty of restaurants and bars. Comfortable bed. Air conditioning, safe, fridge, water heater and tea/coffee in the room

Value for the money: I expected higher standard for the price and for the category (Novotel). It requires a deep refresh /refurbishing inside.

While the bed is indeed comfortable, the sofa-bed much less so. Only recommended for kids. As other reviews mention, everything is quite old and run down, but functional. While it has all services to be considered 4 stars, it doesn't look "bright and shiny".

Overall good experience. Good value for money, 99 euros for a family of four. Big enough, clean enough. Very nice and polite staff. Beds comfortable. Located in a quiet part but 5 min walk from the town square. Electric car charger (4 á 11kW) just outside the garage with reasonable prices (40 cents per kWh). Garage nice and cheap enough (60 cents per hour during the night, 1,30€ during the day). Rituals toiletries in the bathroom. Very generous cancellation policy (until 17:59 of the same day).

- We needed a place to sleep for a night on our travel through France - Price/quality was good compared to the other options in summer - Good location next to the highway, so no big detour was needed - Reception is 24/7 which won the deal with the smaller hotels as we were arriving late and booking just couple of hours before the arrival - Rooms was good - We could park around, so not needed to use the hotel parking

some kind of "how to use a room by Novotel" i was left in the half-dark due to my no-experience and ZERO WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS concerning for example HOW to reach the reception

This was the worst hotel in my personal experience. 1 - no parking, you just leave your car on the street. 2 - disgusting behavior of the girl at the reception. (incompetence, deception, refusal to communicate with hotel clients) 3 - technical problems in the hotel (lack of cold water in the toilet and shower, there was only very hot water) 4 - dirty dishes in the restaurant (probably as a result of the lack of water) 5!! - financial fraud (after 100% payment, the next day the hotel debited money from my account)

breakfast has little choice...and the breakfast cereal tasted stale. !!!! very important staff: because I don't speak French, they are very unfriendly to me...although I am very courteous to the staff. I think that no matter what language you speak, gestures count. I'm also expected to be friendly to people who don't speak my language, isn't that right? If you know you work in a place where you meet customers and have to communicate with them. You have to be prepared to be friendly to customers at anytimes. Otherwise...look for another job!! Thats not healthy for the environment and for customers who want to have a pleasant stay. That's a big minus point.

The location is really ok, its in the city...near by are restaurants.
