We like that the hotel is located in a nice and vibrant neighborhood. There’s no lack of good food and great boutiques to shop around the Le Marais district. It is also right next to the Bastille Metro making going to the museums and iconic places convenient. Despite that, Paris is very walkable and we have walked back from the places too! A big shout out to Raissa! Thank you for the great food recommendation and for patiently addressing our queries about Paris! Thank you for also guiding me to get tickets to the music concert!

Hotel Bastille Speria was a wonderful discovery close to the Bastille. Our room and bathroom were beautiful. Small rooms - common to Paris! but yet enough space for what you need. The staff were so thoughtful and friendly. I remember coming back late after the Taylor Swift concert and the nice gentleman at reception saying with a big smile, 'Welcome back Swifties'! Sometimes it's just those little things - or follow up on a question - as promised - that makes the difference. The location is also excellent. Walking distance to so much and the metro right next door.

The 'view' was a little disappointing at first but actually made the room very quiet compared to the street view and made the room dark so we slept exceptionally well!

We have a small misunderstanding at the time of check in regarding the payment of the room. I tried to clarify with the receptionist that the room was already paid however, she didn’t believe that this was the case even that we had a confirmation. We also have two visits from maintenance in our room which make us feel a little bit unsure of what was going on. Considering that one of them was around 7:30pm.

The property has a great location and easy access to all the attractions.

All of Paris is super busy so of course the area around the hotel was busy.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. One of the best rooms I have ever been in. The hotel is in a great area, lots of restaurants and cafes. Easy access to the metro or walkable to other areas of Paris.

Nothing not to like.

Lovely small hotel on edge of Le Marais and Bastille area. Delightful staff who went out of their way to assist us late at night due to let down with apartment reservation. Very comfortable room, very clean, modern bathroom and very good value for money in this favoured location. Very helpful check out time - 11.30 am.

The hotel is very stylish and in a fantastic part of Paris and great value in an expensive city. Some of the restaurants in the neighbourhood were a bit too touristy for our liking but very easy to walk to other places. There is a lovely wine bar downstairs, Le Amoureses, where we enjoyed some small plates and fabulous French wine! We had arrived in Paris after a long flight and it was a great place to stay and recover from jet lag. It has easy access to the Metro and all the attractions. Also, a very big thank you to Juan on the front desk who was very courteous and helpful. He arranged for a small container of earrings and necklaces that I left in the room to be sent back to me. It has made it back to Australia already! I am very grateful!

We had no negative experiences during our stay.

The location was perfect for us. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area, and dining in the local restaurants. The room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was good, with a nice selection of different foods. We certainly plan to come to stay again.

Excellent little hotel just off Place de la Bastille. 1 min walk from the Metro. Great location with numerous restaurants and brasseries nearby. 12-15 min walk from Hotel de Ville. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable.

I didn’t like that there was a bar across the road which the people kept us up all night. It’s not the hotels fault but it disrupted our sleep.

I liked the lay out of the bedroom and bathroom and it was clean and modern.

The breakfast was ok - good food - fruit, bread, pastries, yoghurts etc - but there were not enough tables for the number of people and a very small buffet area to shuffle around each other, with one poor member of staff trying to accommodate everyone. They could easily expand it into the reception seating area. Also the coffee was from a machine although it tasted nice! But for much less than €16 you could get a more relaxed breakfast in one of the cafes nearby. Otherwise the hotel was excellent and I would definitely return.

Overall the hotel was great - small rooms but good value given the location. Clean bathrooms, comfortable beds, not noisy, everything we needed. Reception staff were very nice. Thanks!

We really do not have a negative since it was what we expected for staying in Paris without going to the 400 and +++ Euro cost for a room per night next to a major site.

For Paris this is one of the better general locations, easy access to the metro system that works great and inexpensive. Breakfast was good and more options than usual in France. We live in southern France for 3 months of the year and a hardy breakfast is not usually a French things. Room and bathroom was reasonable size for the location. Staff were very helpful, facility and room were clean. Good value for the money. Many good restaurants within walking distance, get your outdoor table very early in the afternoon if you want to have a drink and watch people walking by.
