We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Australialack of wifi and quite cold (had radiators but they didn’t work so limited to aircon). amazing bar but only open at 7pm per day. should warn tourists to book taxi to property in advance we had to drag 3 suitcases for 30 mins up a steep hill because of no bus or taxi :-( not a great start to the holiday!!

United KingdomIt's tricky to judge everything because we were not there long and the season in Provins does seem to drop of a cliff in September (at least on weekdays)
There was a problem with the room (no idea what) and we were relocated to another hotel for one night. This was communicated to us in transit. We were picked up at the station and taken to the other hotel and bags were moved for us next day. The "replacement" hotel was great and we were compensated with a free dinner. I have no complaints about any of this and they dealt with everything perfectly. Room was good size (superior double) and lots of eating options. Staff were incredibly helpful.

Perfect location right in the middle of town! Lovely hotel that blends old world charm with modern conveniences. We stayed here during the medieval festival and it was right in the middle of the activities. We were so glad to be able to go to our room to rest or use the bathroom during the day.

Germanythe staff upon check in when I asked for restaurant suggestions. she told me of the restaurant in house. when I asked for other restaurants I got a very curt answer to the effect she doesn’t know with an eye roll. I understand she wanted to promote in house dining but we didn’t want to dine in house.
