We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

LithuaniaWe arrived 11:08 PM but the Greet hotel staff was already out. Before that we received a message that receptionist will leave 23:00-23:15 and we have to go to check in to the next hotel called Ibis. Staff in Ibis do not speak well english, but gave us our room key. In the room water a bit smells chloric. Too little pillows. Very narrow room, very little space. With big luggage would be a problem.
Bed was comfy, room clean, bathroom clean.

The hotel itself is nice and gives nice feeling, very friendly and helpful staff. The atmosphere was nice and the children enjoyed with the traditional displays and the chess set :) The beds were really comfortable.

We stayed the night in this hotel on our way back home. And it was a very good choice. The room was very clean! The bed linen and towels all were shiny white and new. It was nice and quiet so we had a wonderful sleep. Staff is also very friendly)

NetherlandsWe had a room with airco but we could not change the ventilator so it blowed very high and cold. In the bathroom we did not have a hairdryer. The wifi was out of order. We got our room updated, it was newly renovated but unfortunately it was under the dust from the renovation and it was not removed it was on the handle of the bathroom and the wc. The floors in the bathroom and in the room was full with dust and the headboard of the bed was with dust of the renovation. The airco did not work at all we had it on 10celcius but it blowed luke warm air we opened up the window. The floor was filthy. I wanted to write positive things but i could not.
The person at the reception was very kind and helpful thank you for the service! In the evening it was quiet. The updated room we got a hairdryer.

United KingdomBreakfast. There isn't enough choice. No cereals or pastries on offer. Just one bottle of orange juice that wasn't refilled when empty. The coffee machine makes very weak coffee. Complaints I saw being made about this made no difference. I dont think the staff know how to fix it. Worst of all is, if you want hot food, you have to cook your own breakfast. One small hotplate for everyone to cook the provided meat and eggs. It was very slow to cook too. Turn the heat up and the smoke sets off the fire alarm. Crazy!
The hotel is newly refurbished. The room was very comfortable and a reasonable size. The staff were all excellent, smartly dressed and very professional. There were very few additional guests so the hotel was very quiet for sleeping.

Very nice and helpful staff. We could store our bicycle in a locked garage. Room was clean. The hotel is newly renovated, but the renovation is not completed.
