We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomA couple of niggles; no plug in the wash hand basin and secondly there wasn't any milk for the coffee/tea in the room.
Our tunnel crossing was delayed with the consequence that we didn't arrive at the hotel until about 10 p.m. having been unable to locate the hotel in the dark. The staff were very helpful in directing us to the hotel and very helpful in checking us in and getting us and 2 dogs settled. Understandably the kitchen had closed but breakfast in the morning more than made up for that.

Huge contemporary rooms with all facilities including walk in shower massive bed and and electric mosquito blinds within a restored farmhouse building, in lovely rural location, and dog friendly!

United KingdomWe woke up in the night because we were so hot! We had gone to sleep with the window open and the shutters closed - when we opened the shutters the cooler air came in and it was better. The choice at breakfast was a bit limited.
