Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThere are not too many restaurants, bars or stores close to the hotel - we needed drinking water during the night, and we ended up ordering it through Uber eats. The breakfast was OK, nothing special but I guess it was still value for money (£15). The lighting setup in the room was poor.
Location is close to the lake. Although it's 15-20 min walk from the centre and most of the attractions, but the stroll alongside the lake with those fantastic views, is definitely worth it. Hotel is generally kept clean and in good condition. The windows open so you can have fresh air inside the room. Rooms are quiet.

United KingdomThe hotel only has very few private parking places available (I think only 5). There is public parking nearby but this may not be to everybody's liking.
Only stayed one night in this hotel en-route, to our destination. We had booked two rooms. They were both clean and comfortable. In one of the rooms the air conditioning was not working well. The hotel is well located close to the shores of the lake and within a short walking distance to the centre.

United KingdomLimited pre-bookable parking on site and on arrival we had to park more than 1km away as it was a busy evening at the lake. Our car was damaged in the car park across the road :( It's also a fair walk to the old town, though a very pleasant one.
Great indoor and outdoor dining areas. Breakfast buffet is limited but high quality and dinner on the small terrace was a delight. Our (accessible) room was large and comfortable.

United KingdomThe room pretty much always smelled of smoke. I'm guessing they have smoking rooms (of which ours was not one of them) and due to the aircon the smoke gets moved around to non-smoking rooms too. A shame.
The location is amazing. The bed was very large (much bigger than a double) with a really comfy mattress. Shower was powerful and always hot. Staff very friendly.

Not far from town centre, 15 minute beautiful walk by the lake. Great parking if you paid. Staff very friendly. Room lovely. A heated towel rail was a bonus after we got soaked in a thunderstorm.
