It's not the apartment's fault, but it's good to know that it is very, very noisy because of the restaurants and bars downstairs. You're in a very popular street, and they're all open until late hours. I didn't like that the double bed had a space in the middle, even if it looked like one mattress, so it was very uncomfortable to sleep on, to be honest. Communication with the host is very basic. The door code outside the building is not the easiest, as you have to press the buttons many times to work.

The apartment has a great space, and the location is really central, in the best area of the village, so you do everything within walking distance. You also have a TV, and you can connect to Netflix, Disney +, etc. Shower pressure is strong.

If you are sensitive to noise, then this room is quite noisy until late night because it is on the main street with bars just under you.

Nice renovated room in an old building located in the central of old Annecy give you more old France feeling. Room is big and comfortable, and there is one comfortable sofa bed I ever slept. .

Small spiral stairs to climb up to apartment (like climbing a castle or lighthouse). Very dusty (I think there may have been renovations underway). Not easy with suitcases.

The lack of air conditioning, which we knew before hand, made sleeping difficult. It was a hotter than normal few days. The great location comes with considerable noise late into the evening and early in the morning. I had ear plugs which I would advise. It is located on the second floor, third floor to Canadians or Americans. The circular 39 steps could be a challenge for some with luggage.

This is a very nice, good size apartment, in a great location in the old town. It is an easy 10-15 minute walk to the main train/bus station. It has been renovated well and has a fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom/shower were excellent. Host was very responsive to emails, provided entry instructions the day before arrival. I would stay here again, but not in summer.

I loved everything about the apartment. It was just like the pictures and thoughtfully decorated—charging point, dishwasher and washing machine supplies and all kitchen amenities. Spacious and spotless. Anna herself was a great host. Informative and helpful beyond the apartment. I loved the area and the Tuesday market. Will certainly go back again. PS - with the windows closed there was no street noise at all. Tres bien!

One compromise for the central location is the noise from the busy street in front. With closed windows it is not a big issue.

Very central location, close to shops, restaurants and private parking lots. Anna gave clear instructions on how to find the key, options for parking etc. Very well equipped and renovated appartment with good taste, unexpected if you judge by the exterior of the building which is very old.

Superb location to visit town & nearby restaurants. Nicely decorated apartment. Great facilities. Excellent shower, lots of towels. Loads of kitchen appliances.

The most uncomfortable beds ever experienced Excessive heat ano not being able to leave windows open due to noise. Understand that building in the old town can't have air con installed but that doesn't excuse not providing a mobile unit like a Dyson or similar. Raised this with the owner but no resolution. Overall, very limited sleep over 3 nights and had to sleep on floor in living room to be cooler ..... not a good experience and wouldn't do it again.

Central location, although this was a downside too due to the noise. Plenty of crockery and cutlery. Nice old architecture.

Location is right above noisy bars and restaurants. Hot in July with windows open and more so when closed. Bed uncomfortable for couples, made up of two small twin beds together.
