The room needs updating. I have stayed at this hotel before and had a much nicer room, rather disappointing to have been given a room like this. The wash basin was chipped, the beds were pushed together by the windows , no armchair, etc. quite honestly I expected the standard I previously had for over £300 a night!

The breakfast was ok, the breakfast staff was wonderful. The coffee and juice service made the meal.needed more egg products. Scrambled, omlets ect. The desk staff was very good and helpful. Was easy to work with and explained things well.

The rooms were very small which is common in Europe, but the fact that there was a full bathroom in each room and it had an elevator made it totally fine.

The property is located near multiple metro entrances. There are cafes near. The desk staff gentleman who helped us when we first got there was wonderful. He stored our luggage for us until or rooms were ready and helped me find a phone store nearby. Rooms were cleaned and towels and linens changed out daily. There was a small elevator but it did the job and we did not have to climb stairs with our luggage or multiple times a day. We had a very nice stay.

We paid more than we typically pay. But we should have monitored the rates more closely to change our booking.

Great location! We have stayed here on previous visits. 6’ieme is fun but relaxed, not as overwhelming as some of the more heavily frequented tourist areas. The hotel is comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff is very professional and accommodating. William is particularly welcoming and attentive, but the other staff are also excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel. The only reason we did not rate it higher was because we paid a lot more than the in the past. Maybe because we booked very well ahead. Closer to our stay the rates dropped and were advertised elsewhere (not on booking) but we were not able to cancel and rebook at the lower rate due to logistics. We felt we paid a bit more than we should have, but nevertheless this is a very comfortable hotel and we will book here again….but monitor rates more closely!

It is an older property, the bathroom configuration is a little awkward and the towels are thin and desperately need updating but the cleaner was nice and although she spoke no English we managed and she always bought fresh towels when we needed them. The lift is tiny, only for 2 people but it was again fine for my daughter and I. The carpet needs replacing. I didn’t feel clean walking around without socks on and I think new carpet and repainting the skirting boards would be an instant refresh for the hotel rooms.

This hotel is right off the subway. With luggage it’s easy to get to. St Germain in a beautiful part of Paris and the Bolangerie across the road is amazing. Every morning we had the croissants and orange juice and both were the best I ever had. The rooms are small and the hotel is older but the air conditioner is amazing! And in our entire Europe trip was the only one that worked effectively, even in more expensive/ modern hotels!

The room and the hotel is very small. The breakfast costs 16 eur but I think you can fins better food around for less price.

The location was good, it’s a safe and upscale neighborhood. The St. Placide metro station is very very close to the hotel. The rooms are clean.

Would have liked a wardrobe that would allow hanging dresses and dress pants.

Great location. Walking distance to most museums and attractions. Everything you could possibly want within a 2 block radius. Good restaurants, bakeries, wine store, pharmacy, grocery store and laundry. I stayed for two weeks this time snd will go back. Busy area but good windows that shut out the noise. Also serve breakfast and rooms have kettle and fridge.

At night our room could get a little hot and A/c was not working correctly. The staff was responsive but still they couldn't fix it on timely manner. That was the only one issue we faced rest all went pretty smooth.

Location, Location , Location. This hotel is in the prime area of Paris and all the famous places are like 10/ 15mins from this place. Metro station is right opposite the hotel and we took Metro every single day. Lot of good restaurants close by, also a very safe place to stay as we walked for long miles in the night without any issues. Super friendly staff as well

I WOULD HAVE APPRECIATED SOME WARM, COOKED FOOD FOR BREAKFAST - MAYBE ON REQUEST. IT IS QUITE UNUSUAL NOT TO BE ABLE TO HAVE EGGS OR A WARM TOAST FOR BREAKFAST. AT THE END, WE ATE THE BREAKFAST THE FIRST DAY IN THE HOTEL AND WENT OUTSIDE FOR BREAKFAST FOR THE REST OF OUR STAY.

Pictures of the room made it seem like it would be bigger. Our door didn’t fully open because the bed was so close to the door. It wasn’t a major bother though.

The bedroom was just big enough - we were expecting it to be smaller though. The paintwork on the bathroom door just needed a clean and touching up. There was refurbishment work happening on the first floor, which started around 8.30am but didn't really bother us. Really nothing to be disappointed about!

Location is excellent for transport. Metro route 4 , stop Saint Placide runs straight to Gard du Nord and is just a 30 second walk from the hotel. There are also bus routes very close by. The room was very well accommodated with a wardrobe, long desk, chair, stool, bedside tables, shelving and tv. The wet room was very small but perfectly adequate. The lift is very small, but we got 2 adults, one suitcase and one folded wheelchair in it! Breakfast was in a lovely bright ground floor room, overlooking a busy street, but it wasn't at all noisy. There was an excellent choice of breakfast and for me, some gluten free products as well. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The area is lovely with some shops and amenities close by. Perfect for any occasion. Free wifi a nice bonus.

The common areas and amenities (e.g. elevator) could use some freshening up, as they look worn out and not really well maintained over the years I have stayed at this hotel.
