Warm weather meant we had the windows open and therefore we experienced some noise from the street at night.

Modern spacious appartment, spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need. Bed was super comfortable! Central location close to restaurants, bars, shops and attractions.

Given only one key per couple for the appartments would be a big problem if lost.

The location was excellent right in the centre of everything. Noise levels was very good. Highly recommend.

Fabulous apartment. Perfect for a couple. Less than 1 minute from the harbour. Sebastian was so helpful and lovely neighbours. Would highly reccomend this apartment to discover beautiful La Rochelle.

Only issue we had is that access to the apartment was hampered due to roadworks on the street so it made the external look quite dusty. Also the apartment is right over a Kebab shop so initial impression given did not match the interior modern decor & confort. We would still rate Sebastian’s apartment a 10.

The property is located right next to the Old Port so a superb base to see La Rochelle from. The facilities weee top notch and the bed and bed linen were so comfortable . Overall an excellent base and would book again .

The views out the windows were of the building so there wasn’t a lot of light. Assistant to the owner did not speak English.

Old building but the apartment was modern and spotless. The location excellent if you want to be near the vieux port.

Suggestion: perhaps some pamphlets/streetmap of La Rochelle in apartment for first time visitors.

Excellent location in the heart of the very historical Old Port - close to all amenities and restaurants. The small solar powered electric ferry between both sides of the harbour is a delight - also the Musee des Automates is worth visiting. Really enjoyed our holiday break.

Nothing serious. Would prefer more cleaning paper towels, garbadge disposal rules were not clear from the beginning.

Location is perfect. Clean, quiet, Well maintained appt. No hussle, pleasure to stay. I might return next year.

The main mode of transport around the city is by bike. Bike storage at the apartment would have been helpful, although there are plenty of places the bikes can be left safely overnight.

Sebastian was an excellent host who met us at the property on arrival. The location of the apartment was perfect for exploring La Rochelle.

We had an issue with the lack of parking. We had to use a car park 8 minutes walk away which cost us £50 for the four day stay and meant two journeys to move our luggage. This I feel is a failing on the part of booking.com who categorised this property as having parking.

If first impressions are important to you then be prepared for a slightly unimpressive approach. The inside is worth it.

This apartment is located right around the corner from La Rochelle old harbour. It is light and spacious and well equipped and the host was very helpful.

Light in bathroom was motion sensitive and so any motions at night near the bathroom would turn light on. Closing bathroom door tightly solved the problem.

Clean, contemporary appartment. Owners were on site and very welcoming and helpful. Excellent location. All modern appliances and furnishings.

Absence of toaster, which is a shame particularly for breakfast in the morning. Some simple things are missing in the kitchen: oven gloves, an extra tea towel, a toaster, lids, an additional handle for more than one saucepan. The microwave is far too high, therefore, it is rather difficult and even unsafe to remove hot dishes (particularly in the absence of oven gloves!). The wardrobe space is too small, with 6 hangers only for 2 people for a week! The pillows are too large and too soft.

The location is excellent, in the historical center, between the old port and the 'Grosse Horloge'. It cannot be better! The apartment is very quiet, which is a real asset in such a busy environment particularly at night! The style and quality of the furnishings is good. Very comfortable bedding. More than enough space for 2 people. Very effective shutters, which is important for people who like to sleep in the dark. Clean and hygienic.

Located between 2 restaurants, not a welcoming entrance which was poorly lit. The apartment lists having a washing machine but this is not the case. Not important to us as we were there for 2 nights.
