You are literally only minutes away from the Cité (the medieval castle) but in a quiet part of town. The welcome muffins were delicious. Great place to stay if you want to spend several days in Carcassonne.

Wonderful location with a short cobblestone walk up to the walled city. Well equipped kitchen which we used to cook a meal. Spacious apartment with lots of room for 4 adults comfortably. Wonderful hosts!

Everything was perfect. One small piece of advice, the bed, the mattress, and the pillows are wonderful, but...... please bin the duvet and pillow "covers" They are not comfortable. The material they are made of causes the duvet to wrap around your legs. It's a very simple fix.

This little apartment is in a perfect location. It's on a side street that's a cul de sac. When you come out the door, if you turn right, you walk into the old castle full of lovely little street with cafes, restaurants, and shops. If you turn left, there is a beautiful walk along a canal/river bank. Everything is within walking distance. I took 2 taxis while I was here. 1 from train station to apartment for Eur11 and 1 to the airport for Eur22.00. Both fares were about right for distance travelled. The apartment was easy to access, key left in a lock box, there are a few steps (approx 8 to 10)inside the door leading up to the apartment door, but they are easy to manage. The furniture is very comfortable, especially the sofa and armchair.. The shower is excellent. Good supply strength and plenty of hot water on demand. The mattress and pillows were tops for comfort. The old bridge is a 4 minute walk. I wasn't mad about the new yown or the square. There wasn't much to do or see in the area. The canal and old city were the best spots. Really enjoyed the boat trip on the canal. Worth every penny. Didn't need to rent a bike. Maybe next time. The two little cakes on arrival were perfect touch. Also the additional supplies, rice, pasta, salt, spices, oil, tea and coffee. Thank you. I highly recommend and would stay here again without hesitation.

Perfect location close to the medieval city. Wonderful hosts - we were able to leave our luggage before and after our stay and they were so kind and took us to the station. The homemade cakes were a wonderful touch too. Everything was perfect and we wished we could have stayed longer. Don’t hesitate to book this lovely property!

EVERYTHING!! This is one of the prettiest apts we have stayed. Just like the pics. Full of little details that make the difference (e.g. the muffins, the guides, the warmth of the owners) Specs: impeccable cleanliness, beautiful common area, furniture and lighting, all very new. Soft beds, a 5-minute walk from Carcassonne. Parking nearby. In a quiet area (you can walk up to Carcassonne at night or walk to the city).

We like everything...we are only sorry that we couldn't stay longer and we didn't had the chance to meet the owners, but we will return for sure.

The location is in the historical town, very close to the castle. The apartment is very new, clean and comfy with all amenities included, but the thing that we like the most was the hospitality of the hosts. They let us delicious baked muffins with the description written in our native language. It was a very considerate gesture that impressed us very much.

Wonderful little apartment in a fantastic location at the bottom of the ramparts. Stylishly decorated, with a seriously comfy bed which I was very grateful for after a late night or two! Delicious cakes and a lovely bottle of wine were left for me which is a really nice touch. Marie & Arnaud are fabulous hosts, really helpful and prompt in all communications - I’m already booked up for next year!

Truly flawless. I have stayed in thousands of places in almost 50 years and I cannot remember such a pleasant lodging experience.

While we never met the hosts, they did everything they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. They communicated with us in English and made special arrangements for our late arrival and when we did get in about 1 am (2 hours after our ETA) we found a bottle of wine and excellent cupcakes waiting for us. The apartment could not be better located, being both right next to the old city itself and the river and island park, in a quiet area but also only a few minutes walk from the new city and all its conveniences. The apartment was extremely comfortable, with unique and interesting modern decoration and everything you might need. I do not exaggerate when I say it was one of the best parts of the trip, and I doubt I have ever had such a value for money in any of my travels.

Beautiful property. Clean and comfortable with everything you need. Ideally situated for access to the old city and easy walk into Carcassonne centre. No problems finding a parking space outside. The homemade muffins were delicious!!

The location was perfect to visit the Chateau in Carcassonne as the apartment is almost literally on the ramparts. We were able to park right outside the apartment. Marie, Jean Louis and Arnaud have done a fabulous job of decorating the apartment and everything we could possibly need for a three night stay was there. I especially liked how all the appliances and kitchen equipment was new. The fresh muffins and bottle of rose was also very well received :). There has been a lot of thought and attention to detail to make this lovely little apartment a great place to stay. Highly recommended for a visit to Carcassonne citadel.

We had a very warm welcome from the hosts, who could not have been more helpful. The apartment is in the perfect location for enjoying Carcassonne. It is just a few minutes walk from the old city, and also very close to the lively restaurants in Rue Trivalle.

Great little apartment in a really good location. Everything was stylish, kitchen was well equipped, bed comfortable and we could even do a load of washing. We arrived by bike and were able to secure our bikes in the bike room. Highly recommended.
