Perhaps some information left to direct you to the nearest grocery store. It’s actually only 5 minutes walk away and sells lovely bread and croissants.

Excellent location, and extremely helpful hosts. A well equipment, spacious apartment, tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. The welcome home baked muffins were delicious. We would definitely recommend the Remparts apartment.

A perfectly appointed, spacious apartment with comfortable beds, modern bathroom and big windows with glimpses of the castle. Conveniently located close to the entry of the medieval town with plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The freshly baked muffins were a lovely personal touch on our arrival.

It was fabulous. Beautiful decor. Very comfortable and cosy. Literally at the foot of the walled city. Our hosts were so very welcoming and friendly and made us delicious muffins and left a lovely bottle of wine on our arrival. We cooked in the apartment too. All very modern equipment. Struggled to use microwave and hob but got there in the end. Maybe a few instructions would have helped. Loved it and was sad leaving it. Would highly recommend it to anyone. Beautiful! 😊

Excellently located, 5 minutes walking from the old city. Very tasty homemade cakes and all-you-need for breakfast. Cozy and comfortable. Marie and Juan Luis very responsive and attentive (plus communication in Spanish 😊) We definitely loved it!

This is an extremely comfortable, clean, quiet and value for money property. Beautifully decorated, with everything you need for a comfortable stay in a good location, near the castle and very close to cafes,restaurants and bars.. also a 15min walk into centre of Carcassonne. Would highly recommend..

The decor was incredibly tasteful, the kitchen was exceedingly well stocked, the bed was the most comfortable we'd stayed in on our 2 weeks away and the whole apartment was a very relaxing space to stay in. The owners parents were lovely and had some really helpful tips on other nearby sites. We would highly recommend.

You are literally only minutes away from the Cité (the medieval castle) but in a quiet part of town. The welcome muffins were delicious. Great place to stay if you want to spend several days in Carcassonne.

Wonderful location with a short cobblestone walk up to the walled city. Well equipped kitchen which we used to cook a meal. Spacious apartment with lots of room for 4 adults comfortably. Wonderful hosts!

Everything was perfect. One small piece of advice, the bed, the mattress, and the pillows are wonderful, but...... please bin the duvet and pillow "covers" They are not comfortable. The material they are made of causes the duvet to wrap around your legs. It's a very simple fix.

This little apartment is in a perfect location. It's on a side street that's a cul de sac. When you come out the door, if you turn right, you walk into the old castle full of lovely little street with cafes, restaurants, and shops. If you turn left, there is a beautiful walk along a canal/river bank. Everything is within walking distance. I took 2 taxis while I was here. 1 from train station to apartment for Eur11 and 1 to the airport for Eur22.00. Both fares were about right for distance travelled. The apartment was easy to access, key left in a lock box, there are a few steps (approx 8 to 10)inside the door leading up to the apartment door, but they are easy to manage. The furniture is very comfortable, especially the sofa and armchair.. The shower is excellent. Good supply strength and plenty of hot water on demand. The mattress and pillows were tops for comfort. The old bridge is a 4 minute walk. I wasn't mad about the new yown or the square. There wasn't much to do or see in the area. The canal and old city were the best spots. Really enjoyed the boat trip on the canal. Worth every penny. Didn't need to rent a bike. Maybe next time. The two little cakes on arrival were perfect touch. Also the additional supplies, rice, pasta, salt, spices, oil, tea and coffee. Thank you. I highly recommend and would stay here again without hesitation.

Nothing - everything was perfect.

Perfect location close to the medieval city. Wonderful hosts - we were able to leave our luggage before and after our stay and they were so kind and took us to the station. The homemade cakes were a wonderful touch too. Everything was perfect and we wished we could have stayed longer. Don’t hesitate to book this lovely property!
