In the flat it would have been useful to be left more essentials such as washing liquid, toilet rolls, neapresso pods etc The kitchen equipment was minimal and the glasses were few and no big tumblers.

Excellent views of the old town and beyond. Great location for the Ironman village which was the purpose of our trip but also for the rest of Nice’s highlights.

Areas for Improvement: • The kitchen utensils were very limited; there was only one pan, which made cooking very difficult. We ended up buying our own sharp knives and a pan. For a hotel like this, providing such utensils shouldn’t be too costly. 😊 • The kitchen and bathroom were clean but very old. No matter how clean they were, they didn’t appear very hygienic because of their age. If the sink and bathtub were replaced, it would create a much more comfortable environment. • We stayed for about two weeks, so we had to buy our own dish soap, paper towels, etc. This might not be necessary for those staying only 2-3 days.

Positive Aspects: • The location of the hotel was excellent; it was very close to both the sea, shopping malls, and the old town. There was a jazz festival during our stay, which made it a bit noisy, but it didn’t bother us. • The elevator in the building was very narrow, which could be difficult for families with children, but it wasn’t a problem for us. • The size of the apartment was perfect, very spacious. There were also amenities like a dishwasher and a washing machine.

Only challenge is the noice from the restaurant terrace. We where on 2e floor. But I guess that is also somewhat normal in the city.

Overall nice apartment, great balcony and nice that windows can fully open. Beds where good. air-con’s worked in all rooms. Kitchen perhaps a touch small, but we did not plan to use it anyhow. Washer/dryer was also practical to have.

The two beds in the second room could be more comfortable by having a solid base instead of a metal stand.

The location was more than we could have asked for, with Massena square being right around the corner and the tram stop just across the road. The apartment was very spacious with a beautiful view of the city. The staff at Hotel Aston made the check in process smooth and were helpful and friendly throughout. A special thanks to Catherine for coming to our rescue when one of our guests locked the key in the apartment, it was after hours but she remained cheerful and accomodating as she met us to open our door with the spare key.

There wasn't a shower in the bathroom - Just a hand held hose with a shower head over a bath. This wasn't ideal. The kitchen also had very little equipment in it - that didn't matter to us as we were not doing any cooking but would be important to note if you did want to do any cooking.

The location of this apt is prefect. Half way btw the old town and the shopping area. Really nice location. The beds were really comfortable and the living space is great. I would def stay here again with a group.

Location was great, near everything. Easy to find and get to from the airport. Keys collected from the hotel reception next door, who then took us over to show us how to get into the property. Apartment was nice and clean, large and well appointed. Would definitely recommend May even be back ourselves

It says it has aircon but there’s only a fan that you put water in, would be good if you could invest in a small aircon unit to put in the bedroom as it was very very hot in the evening

Kitchen poorly equipped: mismatched poor quality plates, cups, cutlery. No sharp knife, no scissors, no corkscrew- At odds with the excellence of the rest of the flat.

Wonderful location- 5 minutes to centre of town, 5 minutes to beach. Flat comfortable, functional, tastefully decorated. Great view. Noisy location, solved with double glazing and air-conditioning. Great staff.

The shower over the bath definately needs a shower curtain, water ALWAYS ends up on thefloor making it really slippery. There is black mould on the ceiling and tiles. The towels are really not up to standard, really starting to look old. Not enough pillows. A double bed and two singles are not really what a party of four adults require. There is evidence of a curtain in the bedroom which would have stopped it getting light at 4:00 am...!! A couple of bedside tables and lamps would also make for a better experience. Plug sockets could easily be converted to house USB ports.And finally.... more than one key for a party of two couples please which meant we all had to return together

The lift was very small and we were on the 3rd floor. One of my group was 78 years old and the youngest 7, the rest had to walk as no more could fit in the lift.

Very central! Perfect for our trip, 4 beds plus a pull out bed. The staff at the hotel linked to the apartments were very helpful. All in all, couldn’t fault it. The air con was also excellent.

The apartment was spotlessly clean, the staff at the hotel were great, and the restaurant downstairs was fabulous. location is the best, between high shopping, restaurants and bars and the old town for a more traditional nice experience.
