The heat! It was a very humid weekend in Annecy. It was cooler outside the hotel than inside! I could not get the room temperature below 25 degrees despite attempting to lower the temperature with the aircon in the room. Consequently my sister & I had a really uncomfortable night with very little sleep. At 3am I opened the window but that resulted in letting in the noise of trains.

The location was good, easy access on foot to the centre.

We were there for a night and this hotel was the perfect location to see Annecy in one day! A short walk to the lake and the historic town it was easy to get around (even with two strollers!)

What a great easy to find, centrally located hotel. Right next to a railway track but you dont hear anything, super sound proof rooms. Very reasonable price room, comfy beds, great staff was perfect for us driving from the UK that wanted somewhere safe to leave the car and great for us to stay. This hotel has a great underground private car park which is an additional cost, but well worth it. We were able to leave most of our stuff in the car without having to drag it all up to the room. We walked into the old town in 5-10 mins, great restaurants and coffee shops. The Saturday Farmers Market in the old town was real treat, tons of stalls, cheese, bread, fruit & veg. Even found a great ice cream shop had goats cheese & Lavender ice cream. LOVED ANNECY what a great little find!!!

Nothing of any significance. We were on the fifth floor and situated (like most of the rooms) above the railway tracks, so there was a slight rumble when a train went through ... but it didn't disturb us. For some reason, my room key failed a couple of times and had to be reset.

Large comfortable room, good wifi and perfect location for us - close to the old town and the lake and ideal if you're travelling by train. The breakfasts were very good, with an excellent selection of options.

Not a thumbs down; but the parking is extremely narrow.

Excellent location - good of you have a car as you are not in the middle of the city centre; but literally 3 minute walk to it. Rooms are spacious and sound proof.

Paid for breakfast, but breakfast doesn’t t start until 6:00am. Had asked manager on duty the night before to arrange for takeaway hot breakfast or sandwiches which he promised he would but he never did.

Location was great, just within 5 mins or less from the Annecy train station and walking distance to old town historic sites. Room and bed was very comfortable. Shame we were only there for a night and didnt get to enjoy the room much as had to leave at break of dawn. Staff were very helpful. We paid for breakfast and requested for a takeway but manager night before didnt arrange. However, manager on duty n the morning was kind enough to offer drinks, chips and whatever e he could which helped a bit as our train as at 5:45am. Safe, no frills hotel with loads of essentials s for short stay.

Breakfast was rich and delicious. Room was quite big and spotless. There was a fridge and a coffee machine, which we found useful. The restaurant on the ground floor had a delicious food ( we had dinner there).

Excellent. Bar area was great. Room was comfortable and a good size. Iron and board was available to use and brought up to the room quickly. Air con was excellent! Staff very helpful and friendly.

Room had view of train tracks and station. However we weren’t bothered by noise overnight.

Excellent location. Next to bus station and ten minute walk to main town. Very friendly staff. Rooms were comfortable and reception area/bar area was nice place to relax. Breakfast outside on the terrace was very pleasant.

Only minor was breakfast busy so had to be more organised with a time of roughly when you wanted to go. We didn’t mind though.

The breakfast was amazing. The beds were super comfy. The bar and restaurant area felt relaxed and not like a hotel which was lovely as we had two young boys but could feel like we were still out. The location was great and walking distance to lake and town. The bus station was also found the corner. Free buses to great swim spots around the lake (bus 60)
