The rooms were tight and small enaugh but renovated.

The location was perfect with the best view!very close to public transports, restaurants and markets!very convenient to arrive from the airport!the hotel has been secured and safe!

No lift from ground floor to level one (where the reception desk is). Many stairs to climb. It’s very difficult to climb the stairs when carrying a big suitcase

The location of the facility is very good, it is located right opposite the port. A lively moving region. The subway is very close. There are restaurants around. Breakfast was good.

The location is perfect, we had a window looking to the port and it’s really stunning. Even thought the street is busy and loud at night, we didn’t have any issues sleeping. The stuff was friendly and the room was super clean!

There was AC in the room yet we were unable to control it. Sometimes it turned off in the middle of the night leaving us with a very hot room and we couldn’t do anything about it . A few uncomfortable sleeps

Nothing. Not even the long walk up the stairs bothered us, because everything else was just great.

This is an exceptional location, right at the top of the old harbor, with absolute everything you might need within 5 minute walk. All the staff were so good, and even excused our very bad French speaking with a smile. If we had a front room, we would have that fantastic view out over the whole harbor, as well as a lot of the old city. Definitely booking one the next time. To reach the hotel reception, you have to climb the stairs, so you need to be able bodied. We are, so that was OK with us.

Hôtel Life Marseille VP is perfectly located for exploring Vieux-Port and Marseille, as it's right in front of a tube/metro station. The staff were very friendly, and we even received an upgrade to a room with a sea view, demonstrating their kindness and consideration.

Perfect location, ideal base to explore Marseille. A room with a view of the Vieux Port is recommended - great to watch the world go by particularly late at night when nothing seems to stop. Room perfectly soundproofed so you can shut the door for peace and quiet. Highly recommended.

Air conditioning was not working and the window in the room was leading somehow to the inside of the building and as a result it was no fresh air at all and was extremely difficult to sleep

Couldn’t get the thermostat to work and it was very hot at night - facing into the atrium so no relief with the window open.

Sometimes, I wished for fewer stairs. It was in the description, so it's not like it was a surprise.

The location was great. Close to the things I wanted to see - Vieux Port, Fort Saint Jean, the cathedral - and with great access to the ferry to d'If and Frioul. The room was a nice size and incredibly well insulated against noise from the street. The shower was very luxurious. The hotel staff were very kind, helpful, and approachable.

It’s perfectly situated in the old port of Marseille. The rooms are compact but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic - lots of selection and all organic. Great and helpful staff.

I expected the room could be a little bigger but for 2 people it's alright. Sometimes you would hear footsteps from the upper floor if you are not staying at the top floor.

The location is beautiful and perfectly placed with good connectivity. The Vieux Port metro and bus stops just in front of the hotel. Lots of good food options nearby. The ships to go to Calanques start from the port in front of the hotel. Very good view of the port from the room. The hotel provides a good breakfast option at a reasonable price. The staff are very good and they speak very good English.
