Unfortunately, Like all the hotels along the Sillon there were lots of steep steps. Small price to pay for lovely rooms with gorgeous views.

So close to the sea. Breakfast delicious, staff very helpful. The meal at the restaurant was absolutely fabulous !!

The hotel was very cute and right on the Sillon with beautiful views and close to walk to everything. My room was on the small side, but it had a beautiful view from the window. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Limited car parking on site. Although free car parking was available in the roads around the hotel it was pot luck whether you could park close to the hotel especially when the beach area was busy. The shower was very small.

The location right by the beach was perfect. The staff were very friendly, polite and efficient. Loved the decor and relaxed feel to the place. Very chilled. The breakfasts were really good. Very fresh and tasty.

The only thing I didn’t like was the noise in our room, our room was beautiful and large (family room 1) however there’s an adjoining door to the kitchen (I think) and there was a lot of noise coming through. Could do with sound proofing. Other than that very good.

The location was outstanding, the interior of the hotel was lovely especially the restaurant with amazing views.

The room is small and there is no elevator, so be aware if you have large suitcases or you can’t climb steps.

Gorgeous little room right at the sea. Great sleep to the calming sound of waves. The hotel is positioned on the boardwalk, at an easy and beautiful 15 min walk from the Old Town. There are quite a number of restaurants along the boardwalk; plus the hotel has its own restaurant. Great choice of fresh seafood everywhere. Old Town Saint Malo is a gem of a fortress town. After reading ‘All the Light We Cannot See’, you feel you know it organically.

The sea view room was wonderful, as was the breakfast. It was lovely to sit on the terrace and enjoy the sun while looking at the sea. It was great to have a parking space too.

The shower was a little temperamental with temperature - cold one second and hot the next and the shower door didn’t fully come across so it was hard not to get water on the floor but it was a minor thing. There are only a very small number of parking places at the hotel so, if you haven’t been able to reserve one then you will need to park on one of the streets nearby - it’s free but you’re then at the mercy of how near you can park and need to carry suitcases etc and leaving any other luggage in the car away from the hotel.

The view from the restaurant was stunning - right on the beach front :-). The restaurant only has a limited number of Japanese-style dishes but the food was absolutely delicious and the Continental buffet breakfast was great - a large selection of different cereals, breads, pastries, meat, cheese, fruit etc and not bad value. Our room was spacious and the beds comfy - we didn’t have a view over the beach but it didn’t really matter for one night.

Rooms are very small. No possibility to eat at the restaurant after 14h, not even a little snack on a reduced menu.

Great location of the hotel by the sea, superb view from the restaurant/breakfast room, good breakfast. Walking distance to St. Malo intra muros. Very friendly staff.

It was very hot during our stay so airconditioning in the rooms would have been nice.

The room size was on the smaller side which was OK but the dressing table was too wide to maneovre around. If they halved it and put up another shelf to compensate, that would be better. Wasnt a major thing & certainly wouldnt put me off going back (which I am planning).

That View !!!! Well worth the money for a sea view. Felt like you were breathing a sigh of relief everytime you looked out of the window! Also, 20 yards from the beach was the best bit. Loved the little porthole in the shower where you could see out of the main window too - nice touch ! The room was small, but there was so much storage - a place for everything. If you are looking for a place to get some total relaxation, this is it.

Parking is challenging with very few private parking spaces.

Excellent location at the beach front with amazing views onto the ocean from the dinning room.

Really minor thing but there are only three off road car parking spaces which need to be booked, there was only one left when we came to confirm our booking and we had three cars. There is plenty of on-road free car parking really close, just needs a bit of driving around to find a space.

The location and sea front rooms were really lovely, we also had a ground floor family 'annexe' with a door which opened on to the seafront patio and beach. Just lovely.
