“Perfect location on the lake away from the hustle and bustle of Annecy town itself. We loved being able to walk our dog from the property and found it an ideal base for a 2 night stay. Chalet itself had everything we needed and was very clean. Very close to supermarkets and local shops. Very quiet location but nice with the chalet style to be able to sit outside and chat to other guests.”
“Location was lovely and tranquil. Bear to bus routes, cycle track and shops but still totally peaceful. Good communication and very helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable beds.”
“The location/premises was chosen for peace and quiet, and to ensure we had somewhere safe and secure to park our expensive motorcycle for 2 nights.
Our aim was to spend a whole day exploring Annecy and the lake, which we did by using public transport (be advised, Annecy is a super-busy place to drive in and find parking).
This is a totally self-catering accommodation service, but there's a Lidl and boulangerie within 10-15 minute walk (through a beautiful and peaceful residential estate).
Annecy lake is a 1-minute walk from the accommodation, and the views are nothing short of spectacular.
The nearest bus stop is a 10-minute walk (near Lidl), ask the driver to take you to Annecy Gare.
Annecy itself is a truly amazing medieval town, plus there's the modern part of the town too - if you like your shopping. Otherwise stay in the old part of the town, but make sure you walk down to the lake to appreciate just how beautiful this part of France is... wow!”
“Great location, right near the Lac d'Annecy. There is also an electrical velo station at walking distance, where you can rent electrical bikes (free for the first 30min). The hosts are friendly and available. The room is cosy and well equipped with appliances. The garden is lovely, and gives access to one of the plages of Lac d'Annecy across the street. It's a quiet area.”
“Great hot tub, unique and different. Location was excellent if you have a car easy to get to everywhere and not too far from Annecy. Really easy access to bike path around the lake. Supermarket really close too. Loved they had some bike that we used too.”
“Real family run B&B in a traditional house. Lovely large room with its own entrance and garden. Great location, friendly and helpful owner. Lots of info on surrounding area. An amazing breakfast included with homemade jams. It was so good. Thank you.”
“Everything about this property is first class ! Our host met us at the gate and was a perfect gentleman. There was home made apple juice in the fridge, a bottle of wine and a large brioche loaf to enjoy for breakfast. The views over lake Annecy from every bedroom where a complete joy !
A taxi into Annecy was about 20 Euros but there are plenty of excellent restaurants nearby Especially the Black Bass and Les Poisson Rouge down by the lake side both within 10 minutes walking distance from the house.”
