The sheer size of the apartment was so unexpected. It was huge and even though there were only the 2 of us, it was great value for money. We loved its modern facilities like the brand new kitchen, the washing machine and the dishwasher but it still had lots of charm and warmth from the exposed walls and wooden floors. All the thoughtful extras were a lovely touch too. We were lucky enough to find a parking spot just around the corner, although a small car would definitely fit through the front garage doors and park easily in the huge vacant area on the ground floor of the building (ours didn't fit through the doors although the owner offered the space as "free private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed)".”
