“Virginie and her husband were very welcoming and helpful. Our gite was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed being able to use the swimming pool too.
It was handy to shop and get petrol at the supermarket in Gemozes which also had a good bakery and the Lion D'Or hotel where we enjoyed an excellent Formule Midi lunch (seems very popular with the local clientele).
Access to the coast or attractions further inland was easy.”
“Every so often you find a gem of a hotel. This was just off the motorway, which was ideal as we were on-route to Spain. We arrived late at about 8pm. The welcome was so friendly. We asked if the restaurant was still open? The reply, "We have been waiting for you".... The restaurant was superb, we both had the steak tartare - to die for! Easy to park just outside. Nice breakfast in the morning. Room was clean, bathroom/shower modern. Just wish we were in the area more often.”
