“Location was good, a 10 minute drive into Tours and set in lovely, secluded acres of beautiful grounds. The property was beautiful and so were the grounds. Staff were there if we needed anything (they live downstairs) but left you alone unless you sought them out, after checking we didn't need any help the day after check in.
The apartment (we had the top floor apartment in the main building) was very spacious and was quirky with lovely original furniture and features. Kitchen was well equipped in general, but we would have liked to have had tall glasses and mugs for hot drinks instead of teacups, but we think this is just because the French don't use these items much, especially mugs.
We were practically the only guests as it was September, which was great.”
