“Sublime breakfast! Beautiful views from their backyard terrace, it truly was a morning delight.
Overall a very beautiful, boutique hotel. Beautiful grounds, loads of cute seating nooks around. Our room was accommodating and the size of our bathroom was surprisingly large. Nice amenities and loved the shower gel. Staff was professional, prompt and knowledgeable. Location was extremely handy for us since we didn’t have much time, it’s very close to the center of Angers.

“Well, to start with in New Zealand, this place would not pass the health check.
Both the bathroom and toilet had no windows and no ventilation. Both opened into the bedroom, and I had diarrhoea, we had to open the bedroom window and hope nobody got in. Where it got its name champagne from it was obviously flat and corked. I would never stay there again”
“You really feel like royalty staying in this chateau. Facilities are superb, they paid attention to every detail. I can't believe you can stay in a place like that for what is an average hotel price.”
“Staff were lovely and helpful. Bed comfortable and good shower. Breakfast average, usual bread cereal yogurt etc- no hot food altho there was a facility to boil eggs. Only 3 mins walk from rail station and numerous local bus stops as well as longer bus journeys which was what I required as I planned to visit Brissac and Saumur. Easy walk into Old Town. Not many places nearby to eat unless you prefer pizza kebab type places altho I would recommend Brasserie de la Gare which is excellent.”
