“The hotel is located a short drive from Amboise. The grounds and gardens are beautiful. Plenty of parking, nicely decorated rooms, very clean and friendly staff. The ground floor rooms have private courtyards, nice for sitting and taking in the views. Good breakfast.”

“Room was dated and dirty. Large flies in the room and the thick pile rug was unclean, so was resting room - rather dusty. No restaurant on site, no fridge in room, only saw one member of staff who was not very accommodating and a common room area full of wierd stuffed animal heads. Needless to say, I couldn’t sleep there. Had to cancel reservation within 30 minutes of arriving. Went to a Novotel instead. This is by no means a 4 or 5-star hotel.”
