Our mugs and glasses were not cleaned/changed and the tea and coffee were not replenished which would have been nice.

We liked our stay!

Central yet quiet location. We also liked that they had family rooms that sleep four, which helps our budget when travelling as a family. Breakfast was also very nice with a wide range of choice and good quality ingredients. As we were bicycle touring, we had to find a safe place for our bicycles, which they provided very helpfully.

I found hair both on the bed and on the towels. While the overall cleanliness of the room was satisfactory, this is not the standard I expect from a Radisson. Considering the inconvenience, I would have appreciated a gesture beyond a simple apology — even something as small as offering a glass of wine would have made a difference.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, with a special mention to the blonde girl who went above and beyond to assist me (I’m sorry, I can’t recall her name). The location is fantastic, the room was comfortable, and the shower was particularly enjoyable.

Honestly, it was the least good Radisson I stayed in. And I've been at Radisson Hotels in many countries... The worst was the breakfast, some staff were rude with no sens of hospitality and service, add to this some ramdom music playing in the kitchen during the service, crowded place and so one... The breakfast was not a nice experience at this hotel... The room was OK but still below the standards of Radisson... shower head is tiny, there was a lamp that needed changing, but no-one bothered to do it in 3 days.... Some issues with the elevator (old but nice one!); clients forgot to close the door, so several times we were obliged to climb 4 floors... over all it was below expectations, unfortunately.

Good location to visit Helsinki, spacious room (but we had to ask for it).

During my stay at Radisson Blu Aleksanteri Helsinki, I spent the first night in a different room than the one I had originally booked. The room was small but nice, and the hotel compensated me for the inconvenience. From the second night onwards, I received an upgrade. The new room was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. Overall, my stay was very pleasant. The staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel's location is very central, which made exploring the city easy and convenient. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The cleaning of the room was not done every day. I had to inform second time that the room was not cleaned. Poor variety of sweet dishes for the breakfast that could be improved

One thing that must be improved is the cleaning of the room. Yes there is no need to change the towels everyday. They do the cleaning three days apart. It's ok. But housekeeper charged some towels, bed sheets and duvet covers but not cleaned the bathtub.

This hotel is a great value. It's very central, a few steps from Bulevardi, the most beautiful street of Helsinki. It has very rich breakfast. Our room was at fifth floor. It was large, luminous and very quite although it faces the street.

The room was a bit dark

Beautiful old building with a exquisit old (and working!) elevator. Sure, the last renovation might have been a few years ago and there are some minor (literally minor) scratches on the doorframes and furniture, but it is atmospheric, clean, with comfortable beds, excellent breakfast and friendly staff.

Honestly not a very comfortable or elegant room. Bed was small and the furniture lacked style. The room was also very noisy in the morning as it is located in a between floors area of stairs everybody takes up and down with their luggage. Also, no steps free access. It was ok for the one night I needed but I would not go back.

The hotel is a dream that makes your stay in Helsinki even more enjoyable. The location is perfect and central, whether you want to travel by foot or by transport. The room is very comfortable, clean and the breakfast makes a real difference in the goodness and variety of products. The sauna is the real gem of the hotel, it is free and regenerates you after a day in the city. Highly recommended.
