Nice location, nice property

The handle of the freezer was broken and the water tap was not working properly, however this was a minor thing, it didn’t really affect us much.

The cottage itself is beautiful and very comfortable. Everything was clean and very spacious. The location is very nice, right in the forest. Me and my friends had a blast.

A spacious chalet, clean and with all amenities, surrounded by conifers and snow. The communication with the stuff was very helpful. What else could we ask for?

Location is bit interior, no amenities nearby, except for one restaurant behind the chalet Better if you drive. Druve to Sampokeskus Shopping mall in 10mins.

We stayed 2nights in second week of April. Managed to catch northern lights right behind the chalet in Ounasvaaran Latukartta, a winter walking route which has a small mount. Big spacious chalet, semi-detached unit. Two full bathrooms, one upstairs and other the one down is with sauna. One bedroom down and one upstairs. Two more single beds in common area upstairs. Full equipped kitchen, washing machine (no dryer) and vacuum cleaner. 6 adults can stay comfortably.

A few, minor things could be improved for the price. Would have liked printed instructions as to where the rubbish can be taken. The beds were placed under the lowest part of the sloped roof which isnt conducive to sleep, so these could be rearranged. Also, the sauna « kiuas » and the chimney did not work very well. One of the blinds in the living room was broken. You dont actually see any staff with the office located downtown…It would be a bonus if there were a nearby office with a cafe for daily breakfast.

Spacious, cosy, modern, very clean, beautiful chalets by a hill (good for sledging!). Sauna and fireplace. Very well equipped - even has a dryer in the entrance to hang wet clothes and shoes after being in the snow. Comfortable with 2 bedrooms and an additional sleeping area. Idyllic, elegant cottage!

You should have own car, with taxi is always difficult to tell them for location to pick up many time miss communication. No public transport to reach.

Nothing it was perfect

The location was perfect and easy to find. Loads of lovely walks around and the kids played for hours on the sledges outside the front door. The cabin was super warm and cosy. The sauna was great too!

The mattresses, not the most comfortable

I loved everything except the beds, not the most comfortable mattresses. But the location and everything else was amazing!

Had some initial communication challenges going through booking.com, so arrived with no idea how to get into the chalet. We managed to get in touch with the host and it was solved pretty quickly. A small space heater for the downstairs bedroom would be nice.

Nice location, not In the city, but close to everything. Very much appreciated the fireplace and available wood. It kept the downstairs living room And the upstairs bedrooms Warm.

Only slight issues is access to supermarket or food. Its a little bit of a distance, we used takeaway apps but their is a restaurant around the corner so no huge issue but something to think about. Easier if you have a longer stay as the kitchen is broad.

Absolutely loved every single detail of this place. The cabin itself is in a close proximity to the city but also hidden in a forest and in the snow it couldnt be a more perfect scene. The cabin itself is as romantic as you expect, wood burning fire, access to wifi, all tv streaming, loads of space, stocked kitchen. Incredible stay.

nothing - it was a dream!

Amazing little chalet in the snowy forest. Just magical. In-cabin sauna was such a delight to use every day, easy pick ups from all of the tour operators, and a 2 minute walk to the big ski resort / a few little restaurants in the area. We wanted somewhere that felt secluded and disconnnected, in nature but still easy to get around. This place delivered on all fronts. Simple accommodations, cozy, comfy and warm :)

These chalets are amazing. Location is great and it was really comfortable for a family of five. We were really lucky and saw the northern lights in santa claus village but when we got back to the chalet we were treated to an amazing northern lights show! The kids loved sledging around the chalet. There is a really nice restaurant within a short walk and we ate there both nights. Can't wait to return.

Nothing to add really. If anything i would say maybe bigger wine glasses and coffee cups. More fire lighter supplies and possibly the option of a double bed for the adults.

Love the whole cabin feel about it. Very spacious, clean and come with basically everything you needed in the cabin. It was absolute bliss, no noise and the views from the cabin in the snow is great. Although we didnt use it much but the wifi is excellent aswell. One suggestion i would make is that maybe the company who runs the cabins could offer a welcome basket of breakfast items, milk, bread etc for an additional cost. We arrived late at the cabin and with 3 children we had no food or nothing to drink and all the shops close at around 9pm. I think it would of been nice arriving to food and drinks etc. We had a wonderful stay and have nothing to complain about and will definately be booking in advance for next year. But that suggestion would of been a lovely added bonus.
