Very nice location along the river bank. Very friendly receptionist and quick check-in. The small chalets was nice and clean. The comment toilette and washing facilities were extraordinary clean. It is a place I would come again.

we had cottage nr. 3 - for 3 people- but the 3rd bed was actually a sofa not meant to be used as a bed - very uncomfortable - in July it was very hot so adding a fan/ventilation system would help a lot as the cottage was very hot. In the summer it is never dark so I would add dark curtains in the living area too to help sleeping. Attached to our cottage there were the public toilets used by the camping and by all the people coming and go during the day so it was quite busy [I didn't like it all]

the location is nice, the cottage is nice and good size for few nights. Nice big bathroom and kitchen with all necessary items to cook something. Nice patio with the view on the river

The community kitchen could have had more utensils,cutlery. Particularly for people who fly into the country. Toilet paper ran out when more people using the shared facilities. Would have liked to stay longer

Unfortunately we did not see the northern lights, since it was always cloudy in the night.

The location at the frozen river was very beautiful. The staff was exceptionally helpful, the guide Tomas was extra kind and most surprisingly he speaks excellent Slovak:) We rented cross-country skis directly at the property and explored the forests and area around which was a breathtaking experience. It is not too far (walking/skiing) to Ivalo city where you can do grocery shopping if you need or buy souvenirs.

We wanted to have some drinks and cake in the restaurant, while eating our own lunch food, and they did not let us. It would have been nice since the rooms did not have enough space to eat comfortably. Besides that, no other complaints.

Everything: location, facilities, rooms, landscape, the restaurant, but specially the breakfast buffet! Was really good and labeled, with lactose- and gluten-free options. The staff was also nice and helpful. You can rent snowshoes and other equipment for outdoor activities.

I would have liked more choice at the breakfast buffet. There could be more choice of cheese, sausage, jam, etc. But we still enjoyed breakfast very much. Especially the warm dishes that were served at the buffet.

We had the most amazing time at Arctic River Resort. The people who hosted us were so friendly and helpful. The location was priceless, with a very nice view of the river. The food was very tasty at a reasonable price. We really enjoyed all the activities we booked. I definitely recommend this place to everyone because it was an extraordinary experience and you definitely shouldn't miss it. Many thanks to Thomas who was our guide. We had the best time hunting the auroras with you. Thank you to everyone who works there. You are doing an excellent job! I will definitely come back because it is 100% worth the money. -Zahra (:

We had an amazing stay in the Arctic River Rtheiresort. we stayed there for 3 nights with family. they had provided us their best cottage as we had kids with us. the service was exceptional. They called their aurora tour guide at late night on our request just to satisfy our queries. The location is also amazing. We were extremely lucky that we could see dancing aurora from just outside our cottage. Their Husky tour was also amazing.

Very friendly and helpful staff, spotless clean accommodation, we had the hotel room. Not too spacious, but more than enough to get around a couple of days. Proper shower. Nice restaurant. Beautiful environment! We had a great stay.

A fireplace at the cabin would have been nice and would have given the place a bit more coziness, but the cabin was comfortable anyway!

We really enjoyed our stay at one of the Aurora cabins, a private sauna included to heat up after a day in the cold! There were rental snowshoes, which we used for hiking in the nearby national park Urho Kekkonen (driving there by car) and several options for tours like snowmobile or aurora hunting. The cabin itself had everything needed, the kitchen was well equipped for quick meals and the beds were very comfortable! The resort is located at a quiet place next to the river with friendly staff and a good restaurant in the main building. We tried the breakfast once which was delicious.

Excellent Restaurant! The food was very good quality and served in a cozy lodge, with a big fire. Just what you want on a cold winter's day. Continental breakfast was also very good.
