The walls are a little thin and if the neighbour cottages are booked, you might hear some noise. The interior is nice, but it's not the most modern.

The location is so beautiful. You see Saana when leaving the cottage, the area is so peaceful, there's sauna, a lot of space and it really just feels like a great place to relax and reconnect with nature. Be prepared to see reindeer walking around your car and cottage =)

Oven and cloth drying shelf wasn't working properly. One room under the roof was really hot after using sauna. Was a bit challenging to get sleep.

Location was perfect. Holy mountain Saana on the one side, beautiful Kilpisjärvi lake on the other side, several reindeer strolling around. The accommodation had all the necessary things for a pleasant stay. Great location for daily hikes around. Even the Norwegian fjords are a mere half-hour car ride away. Kilpisjärvi is my favourite area in Finland so far - highly recommended for all hiking and nature enthusiasts.

Would be nice to have a mosquito net on all bedroom windows. Now only one of the bedrooms had it.

We stayed in a cottage next to a river so we got to enjoy watching the reindeer roaming around by the river. A very calming environment. The restaurant was really good. Also a well equipped supermarket and another restaurant nearby.

Very nice and comfortable private luxury cabin with huge (tooooo large??) TV-screen, own small kitchenette, and easy parking. The extra-cost breakfast (7 euros) was very good and had all the essentials. The room was very quiet and private.

Pillows and beds weren’t as comfortable as expected; we were there at Midsummer and it was too warm in the cabin. Couldn’t open windows , nor did windows have screens.

The location was excellent and the stays were fantastic. You've got every piece of equipment and facility you could need. The staff have been the kindest people I've known! while i was there, there was a blizzard and roads were shut off and I was panicking that I'd miss my flight but the staff went out of their way and took time to sit with me, look for options and made sure I made my flight. Asking if we could have breakfast at 5pm (deadline was 6pm) on the evening we arrived, our host seemed somewhat reluctant, but they did deliver the 'breakfast basket'. It's a shame that the temperature can't be controlled at the cabin because it was hot at night, especially in the mezzanine sleeping area. None of this affected our stay that much, which was lovely.

Great location, lovely cabin, peaceful, beautiful views. Friendly locals. Loved the sauna. We definitely got the feeling we were here very out of season (end October), which we didn't mind, as we were there for the hiking. 'Breakfast basket', was easily enough for a packed lunch too.

Only wish we could have turned down some of the nearby lights...but it was not bad. We could raise shades from the bottom of the dome glass to block most of the lights on the ground while keeping our view of the stars and northern lights!

The "iglu" cabin was one of the most amazing spots our family has ever stayed!! The three of these units opened in 2022, and they are designed and outfitted with great amenities. Everything down to the suana, dishes and sound system was high quality. The glass dome over the upstairs bedroom was perfect for keeping an eye on the heavens...Even had heated glass to keep the snow off!

Now in mid October is low season for them so the reception and restaurant were not open. Small details to make the stay even more comfortable and cozy: -The two nice big candle holders were missing the candles. -There could be a kitchen towel/kitchen paper roll. -The shower soap was almost empty. Refilling it would be more welcoming than seeing straight away many others have used the same. -Did not understand the function of the tablet. I thought there would be some information brochure about the story of the hotel, things to do in Kilpisjärvi and others.

I arrived when it was dark, so in the morning, the nice views to Saana fell were a big surprise! The bed was comfortable and I loved there were many different pillows. I did not cook but kitchen seem to be well equipped! I loved the speaker that you can connect to via Bluetooth and listen your own music. Even if close to the village and road ypu feel away and there is enough darkness to ser the northern lights from your balcony. In general, very cozy, comfortable, modern, warm and clean!
