United KingdomI stayed in a 12 bed dorm and there was no blackout curtains!! This was in the summer too when it doesn't really get dark. It really needs better curtain. Bring a sleeping mask. The bunk beds are a bit rattly getting into too (hard not to make loads of noise - bring ear plugs).
Good location, near a lot of the bars and restaurants in Rovaniemi. It has a sauna! First hostel I've stayed in with a sauna, and its decent too. Staff were really friendly. Good breakfast with plenty of options. Plenty of facilities in the kitchen area and all very clean.

United KingdomThe curtains in our room didn’t fully cover the window and during June that meant that the room was quite light. Bring a sleep mask with you if you are a light sleeper!
The property is in the centre of Rovaniemi and a perfect base for exploring Lapland. The room was nice and comfortable. The kitchen facilities were clean and well stocked. Breakfast was a lovely touch and the continental spread was tasty. We loved Cafe Koti (the cafe downstairs)- the atmosphere there was warm and the staff were helpful. We will definitely be back!

NetherlandsThe distance to the station was about half an hour's walk. It's a bit long, but doable. For a solo traveller, a private room is a bit on the expensive side.
It was a neat, clean, and quiet private room. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet that was included was very good.

GermanyThere is not so much privacy within the dorm. It did not matter to me that much as I was there alone but if the dorm had been full, it would have been nice to have a curtain or sth like that for the own bed.
The staff at Café Koti was very friendly. They even offer a free sauna session for one hour per day (females - males seperated) which was why I booked at this hostel. They also have a nice café downstairs which I couldn't use (because I had to leave very early) but it looks really welcoming!

Location is more than excellent. City center, bus station, river and city attractions are very close. For the walk near the river and for the sightseeing, for everything is perfect! Breakfast was very nice,beautiful, amazing....... exeptional a bread fresh, warm and tasty every morning Size of may room is a very good, Windows are big and for the second fresh air was in the whole room, My bed was near the window and I remember how it snowed......on the Arctic !

FranceBunkbeds are a bit too light, so whenever the person below moved, i could feel it straight. It might be good to invest in heavier bunkbeds. But mattress are comfortable enough, so all good still. Maybe good to add some curtains for some privacy. If it is your firstime in dorms, make sure to bring earplugs and eyemask ;)
Loved the sauna time and the fact that there is a special time for women and men. Love the breakfast buffet, price is reasonable and quality good, the homemade bread excellent. Love the location, just few steps from the river ! beautiful walk. Functional kitchen and smiling staff.

We love the place as we book the family room .the toilet is just beside us and separate from the room which is cleaner . We love the kitchen as well as we can buy food and microwave. The hostel was right in the town centre minutes away from an airport bus stop and main supermarkets. Kitchen was well equipped with a kettle, coffee maker and a microwave. The fridge was big enough to fit everyone’s groceries (we went in March, not sure how it is in the high season). There were enough showers and toilets so no waiting time. These were all super clean and shower was hot and amazing. There is a socket in the bathroom to plug in a hairdryer etc. The room (we slept in a dorm) was spacious and lockers were provided together with a key, so no need to bring your own padlock. Towels and super clean bedsheets were provided. The beds were extremely comfortable and very very clean. There are 2 sockets by the bed and also a reading light. The hostel is very well maintained and we would stay there again.

The twin double room was very nice, modern and had enough space for two people traveling with a backpack. During the night it was very quite and not like you expect from as hostel. In the morning there was a good and very basic breakfast containing selfmade porridge and very tasty home-baked bread!
