PortugalHad a few troubles with the key lock, it was kind of frozen and it wasn't explicit how to open, the door was also tricky to open and lock properly. Tried contacting the key holder but she didn't pick up and never did a follow up. Location wasn't great, but we knew this going into it. The "fireplace" isn't working properly, it let's out way too much smoke through where it shouldn't and the fire alarm even went off once.
Very clean and well prepared. Very cosy and comfortable little cabin. Sauna worked perfectly, it was very well, heated it had just enough that we could cook and live by.

United StatesDirections to the room were not very well explained. I think they need to give more specific detail or even a map of the accomodations and where yours is located. We were looking for a single building, but ours was in a cluster with others. Therefor it was very hard to find because it sat in the back of the others, almost hidden. We arrived much later than intended and thankfully the group in the room beside ours was up and was able to assist us in finding our room. They should mark the parking spots a little better as well, as the cabin beside ours parked right in front of ours, making it hard to get our luggage up to our room. Again the others guest shoveled and moved their car making room for us, we just had to haul our suitcases through the snow to get to our room.
Tina was excellent with information when I would contact her. We loved how the room had everything we could possibly need, even though we arrived very late and only stayed one night. We would definetly stay here again.

CanadaThe water was not turned on for the laundry facilities, even though the host said it was. I had to search for the wifi router myself and charge it (it should have already been plugged in). I emailed the host to inquire about these issues and her responses were blunt and unhelpful so I was left by myself to do things that should have already been done. There was also a lack of cleanliness. This includes dirt and hair on the bedding, an unclean kitchen, dust on every surface, and many insencts—both alive and dead, which shows that the property has not been properly cleaned in some time. Again, upon bringing this up with the host, she had no thoughts on the matter and was unhelpful with the other issues I brought to her attention.
The property itself is very unique and provides a good location that is fairly isolated and in nature.
