Breakfast was a bit limited. There were options where to choose from, but I've seen many better ones.

A very nice hotel just beside the Kiilopää fjell. Clean, fresh and atmospheric with proper facilities for drying clothes etc. One of the best swimming ponds with sauna.

The information states that pets are allowed, however, that applies only to cabins, not to the hotel. That information is missing. We had to pay double the original price at place to be moved to the cabin. As compansation we got free breakfast.

Breakfast time could start earlier, 8 am is a bit too late for me. But it is possible to get an early bird breakfast bag with you in the evening and there is a refrigerator in shared use.

Got a small misunderstanding when making a reservation, where after paying for the room is turned out that pets are not allowed there. Info during booking were not marked down to the room. A cabin was offered for an additional charge. After my messages hotel had added some extra info to booking.com, but those room ID numbers doesn´t say to customer much, I think. Check out time 10:00, and breakfast until 10:00. The check out time could be even half an hour later. Would be less stress.

Rooms 111 and 112. It is not a good idea of arrangement since the doors to WC in both rooms are allocated in common lobby outside the rooms. It is very inconvenient.

We had a bit of a trouble with the entrance key and it would have been far to go back to the reception to get help. Luckily it worked after some minutes so it was a very small inconvenience.

The apartment we had was perfect for 2 people. We spent one night but would have been perfect for a longer vacation. The resort is very easy to find and just 15 minutes drive from Saariselka. The sauna in the bathroom is functioning well, it also had a timer so we had it on when we came back from Aurora hunting and we could warm up before bed.

Location is not super convenient compared to the center, but definitely a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. Having said that there are bus directly go to the Saariselkä center and Rovaniemi, tho in winter there may not a lot of scheduled buses. There is ski trail and definitely great place to ski. Room is comfortable and nice view from the window. The overall environment is super pretty!

The lodge house was incredible, all set up was warm and cozy, very clean and tidy, chimney & sauna all working perfectly!! Totally recommended, could easily have 10 people so is perfect for big families or groups of friends

Breakfasts could improve a little

Facilities were excellent, free sauna, super clean and staff very helpful and knowledgeable. -27° outside so continued to watch Northern Lights from my bedroom when I came back in to defrost. Location excellent for x- country skiing - nothing but wonderful fells and nature for miles. Good bus connections to airport and nearest settlements incl Saariselka.

They have a smoke sauna but is very packed so unless you book it in advance there are no slots available.

Clean rooms, it has all the facilities you need, quiet hotel. Breakfast buffet is included. The location is very good, it’s in the middle of nature with direct access to walking/ski paths and is dark at night. Very good value for the price.

Shame the fire was out of action in the lounge and the lounge was a bit dark. We had been looking forward to relaxing there with books. More comfy chairs and less tables..

Loved the remote location and the relaxed atmosphere. Helpful staff both in reception and ski hire. Excellent food and great packed breakfast for early, morning flight.

The hotel is wonderful, in a neat position; right at the border of the national park, so you can rent the equipment (we rented snowshoes) and start your day with a great outdoor activity. In the evening, do not miss the ice pool (yes you can swim in ice) followed by the amazing sauna. We were also satisfied by our dinner and lunch (we loved reindeer meat and the salmon soup). It is great!

There was a confusion about the smoke sauna. There are two saunas: a regular sauna open to public and a smoke sauna by reservation only. Our group wasn't aware of the reservation system prior to our stay and missed out on the smoke sauna experience altogether.

Ideal location for nature lovers! The hotel is just steps away from entrance to a national park. We visited in the winter and were able to cross-country ski and showshoe right from the property. A rental shop is located on site. No early check-in or late checkout, but we had the option to store our luggage and enjoy the outdoors before and after our stay. The hotel is accessible by public transport—buses to Ivalo airport, Saariselka Ski Resort and Rovaniemi stop in front of the hotel. Buffet is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but it's also possible to order a la carte items off the menu. The food is good for such a remote location.

1. Breakfast was a disappointment. Slimy capsicum and soggy cucumber (apparently cut several days earlier). The only fruit was cut apple. 2. The pillows in the beds were poor. The inside material was pieces of foam, i.e. old fashioned mattress material. 3. No car recharging posts.
