the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Gabriela at reception, and Waldemar (waiter in restaurant). We rode bikes to museums and the forest and saw a herd of reindeer. The decor was exceptional. The restaurant was outstanding.. we ate 2 dinners there, and a buffet breakfast.

We were in the attic room, and although there were two big skylights, we had no view of the city. Since we were still jet lagged, it was difficult to sleep because the window coverings still let in a lot of light. Also, the bathtub was nice, but because we were only taking showers, it was awkward not to have a shower curtain. The bathroom floor was very wet, and I could smell mildew from the water collected between the tub and the wall.

The staff was friendly, and one in particular went above and beyond to help me make a doctor's appointment and call me a taxi when I developed an ear infection. The overall design was appealing, and the food was delicious. The breakfast was terrific. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Rovaniemi.

Great atmosphere created by good design and great employees. Mark from the reception made an effort to answer all our questions and find convenient bus connections for us. We really appreciated the conversations with Waldemar, who, in addition to offering us the best local drinks, enthusiastically introduced us to the secrets of the Finnish way of life. We regret that we did not write down the names of other employees who made our stay so pleasant - the waitresses who quickly delivered orders (and the cooks do a great job too!) and the girls cleaning the room (it was impeccably clean). Good location of the hotel allows for walking or cycling along beautiful trails,

The trash in the room was not clean on the check-in day.

The location is not far from the city center. The staff is nice, friendly and informative. The room is large to have enough space to open 2 large suitcases.

Bathroom was cramped with almost no place to hang towels except directly over the toilet.

The location was superb. Mark at reception was extremely competent, helpful, and friendly. Vi was an excellent bartender and made really good manhattans.

The sauna facility is beautiful however can only be booked for 30 min. Also lots of stairs in the facility which may be a problem for some.

Room was excellent and a quite interesting style. Breakfast and dinner as well were outstanding. Easy parking, but probably very snowy in winter.

The hotel was wonderful!- Location was near the river with restaurants and stores 2 mins away. The room was fantastic- We stayed in the family room which was large and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with a large variety of both warm and cold dishes. We tried the sauna during our stay it was great. The restaurant was high quality. The meals were delicious to include the desserts. Would like to thank some of the staff who went out of their way in making our stay that much better: Jon and Ramas who worked the front desk and the restaurant waitress Vi- Thanks for making us feel at home.
