The room facing the road was not well sound proofed but that was minor.

The welcome by the frontdesk receptionists especially Ms Tsion with that great smile warmed up the rainy morning. She had a room organised for me for early checkin at 9.30am which was exceptional. Her colleague at the conseige desk, Fitsum, served me diligently

To be allowed in the pool you had to have a swimming cap, no exceptions, which would have been nice to know beforehand so I didn’t have to spend my time sitting on the side. The carpet was worn and stained. It took over 40mins to get a drink at the cocktail bar.

The room was a good size and the bed was really comfortable. The free airport shuttle was very useful. The range of food available was great and the overall experience was positive.

Staff was amazing and everything was amazing but they need to improve their buffet breakfast variety keeping in view Asian consumer choice. Staff is cooperative and welcoming to foreigners.

Service request go slow and unchecked. Safe box stopped working. Unclear communiciation about my lost luggage.

Was allowed to have a quick swim in the spa after closing time. Free rided up and down to the airport also to pick up my luggage.

The iron box in my room was not working, got another one after several calls, had to go to the reception to fast track. The housekeeping forgot to clean my room, but at least they cleaned as soon as I made the request.

The spa complementary was really nice, and generally the hotel staff were really nice and very helpful. The bathroom packages were comprehensive, they even had a comb :-)

The property was clean . We found the staff friendly , helpful and very welcoming . They were able to book us ‘ride ‘ taxi ( the equivalent of Uber ) print off info for us we needed and as we made a muddle in booking an un needed extra night the lady on reception was kind in helping to reimburse us . It felt safe, we liked the fact there were few westerners and it felt more ‘Ethiopian ‘ . The spa with massage was good value

Expensive. Our key cards didn’t work on multiple occasions and frequently the doors weren’t locking. The iron was not working. The pool required swimming caps but frequently none were available. (This rule seemed to be applied to women and not men!) The sports bar closed half way through a World Cup final. Pool Used for swimming lessons so not relaxing with the pool inundated with children.

While the internet is good, the WIFI signal keeps dropping and the internet connection is thus unstable. This was experienced by me and a few colleagues, so was not device specific. Despite this, it should not deter you from using the accommodation when staying in Addis.

After staying here for a week I can highly recommend the hotel. Not only are the staff members extremely friendly and excellent at service delivery, the hotel amenities are excellent.
